Compassionate & capable team! Dr. Kilburn operated on my dog for a herniated disk 2 years ago, who had a great recovery. It was a scary time not being sure if he would be able to walk normally & be pain-free again. Additionally, a tonsil mass was discovered during the surgical prep, which was later removed & followed up by Dr. Reynolds. The level of care with explaining the 2 issues & the benefit/risks really helped us feel comfortable with the decisions for both procedures. Now at almost 14, Finn still gets comments on his bouncy, happy walk & is such a joy. We are so grateful.
Amazing staff! Unbelievably impressive & efficient! I brought my dog in because he was having an allergic reaction. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left- even with multiple pet owners in the triage room, they attended to everyone! Professional and supportive. I honestly can’t find anymore words to describe how grateful and appreciative I am to the staff here. I will add, 3 years ago I brought by dog here because he ingested a piece of toy he chewed off, and since I didn’t think he would digest it, I thought induced vomiting would be the best option and even then everything went really smooth! This place is the BEST! I 100% Recommend taking your sick pet here, it will be in GOOD HANDS!
Piper recently had to spend six nights at the hospital, after receiving blood results through our vet that her liver markers were significantly elevated. It came as a shock, as she is only 6 and we did not know the cause of the issue. The whole team at Toronto Animal Health Partners made us feel like all questions were welcomed, we were able to call for checkins, her status was always communicated to us clearly and in terms we understood. Everyone was so compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. They understood financial constraints and provided a solution for us to bring her home sooner - without impacting her recovery. Happy to say Piper is thriving at home, her blood results have been good, and she has resumed her normal eating habits. I do not believe she would still be here without the amazing care of the team at Toronto Animal Health Partners. Thank you - we appreciate you so much!
So much appreciation for what these people do. My dog was in so much pain. I couldn't stand to see her like that anymore. They let me bring her in even though they were at capacity. They saw her right away. The ER doc was so reassuring that she would be in good hands and they gave me an estimate that same evening, as well as a detailed explanation and breakdown of the costs. Dr Lovell was wonderful. She did surgery on my girl. She called me everyday to give me an update. I really felt so much relief when she was there that she was in the best hands. I felt like all the staff got to know her a little bit, which was really nice. She has since been having a great recovery. Can't say enough about how grateful I am for the wonderful work of this team.
Our little Chihuahua Sunny all of a sudden developed pain in the neck area and after several visits to our Vet and multiple medications it was determined that a referral to a Neurologist was necessary. We never expected to have him go through surgery but once the cause was found and the necessary course of action was determined, our poor little guy ended up spending four days at the hospital. The Doctor and the staff were extremely helpful. They were amazing at updating us on his progress and taking our calls. I would highly recommend them. Although it was not cheap by any means, it was well worth our dog being free of pain. I would recommend the without hesitation.
