Fantastic coffee, done up by experienced baristas.
Amazing coffee shop off the beaten path. Torch Song rapidly became our go to coffee spot for our morning coffee. The coffee is delicious and the service is welcoming. As your coffee is being made you can peruse the vinyl for your favourite artist. The food is amazing. I had the toast and jam one day and the breakfast sandwich another. It was excellent.
I had short and sweet break with my friend. I love peach white chocolate cookie. There is no difference between latte and flat white but taste is good.
Had an incredible lunch here of their salad that had orzo and tahini dressing, complete with little flowers on top, paired with a hand pie that tasted just like a dumpling, and a chai latte. It was one of the best meals I’ve eaten out in a long time. The music was also very nice. Very small place, only a few chairs with two long tables. Also felt weird walking through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, but hey, you gotta make the most of a space.
Im always fascinated by books and coffee so it’s a perfect place for me. They have a good selection of records as well. Oh, did I mention they serve excellent daily soup too?
Nice surprise walking by on a somewhat cloudy Sunday. Small but well done selection of pastries. And a record shop. More specifically, vinyl LPs.
Found this charming coffee shop when waking around Chinatown. Very beautiful and magical place. Very very good coffee and atmosphere. If you want to enjoy a good coffee and work with your laptop for a couple of hours this is definitely your place.Food: 5/5
I decided to visit this new coffee shop in town. A nice coffee shop space with some books & records to check out. They use the local bow & Arrow roaster beans. Definitely a pleasant experience here.Food: 5/5
Finally visited and was beyond impressed by this hidden gem. Coffee: perfect cortado - Food: delicious miso cookie and surprisingly tasty Szechuan meat pie - Service: friendly conversation with the owner remember what that’s like?! And I’m not talking friendly conversation as in staff chatting with themselves while ignoring you, which has been my experience far too often at other places in town recently. And finally Atmosphere: 10/10. I wish I didn’t have to go back to work and I definitely plan to come back to dig through records and eat a breakfast sandwich.
We had a cappuccino and a chai latte, both were delicious. Good choice of breakfast, we had the bread and jam and granola with orange blossom flavor, really good. The rest of the menu looked savory as well. The place itself is cute, we recommend!
It’s a really nice and cozy coffee place. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere is really nice with all the books and vinyl recordsFood: 5/5
