I tried brown sugar and cheese cake bingsoo and they are good. I liked the cheese cake bingsoo better than the brown sugar bingoo because of the cheesecake cubes in it. The portions are really big. More than enough for 2 people sharing. The lady at the counter is very polite and sweet!
First time ordering from Snowy Village. I decided on a large mango bingsoo. It was to go and they put it in a lovely little insulated thermal bag to transport. So cute!! Arrived home and had a delicious mango treat!! Very tasty. Would definitely recommend!!Food: 5/5
We walked over on a hot evening to try binsoo for the first time- we got takeout as the restaurant was uncomfortably hot the little AC couldn't keep up, but that was no big deal for us. We ordered a large mango binsoo and 3 taiyaki honey cinnamon, with almonds in it; red bean & injeolmi; and custard. They make each item to order so we had to wait a little while but it was so worth it! The binsoo was light and fluffy, the mango was fresh and juicy. The taiyaki were the highlight for us, especially the honey cinnamon. Tasty! And we had great service from both ladies working there. Only docked one star from atmosphere due to the heat, but everything else was great.
It was delicious dessert, my husband and I enjoyed it. Saw someone having watermelon bingso and he said it was really good my eyes went big. The owner was very polite and friendly to everybody. Will definitely comeback! Got take out for mom too.
Mochi was kind of hard from being in the fridge we had to remove them and microwave it. Also almonds were expired and had a noticeable off taste. Perhaps they are not busy so ingredients are not the freshest.Food: 2/5
I highly recommend this place- the presentation is great, the service is lovely, and the taste is not to sweet, but just right for my taste buds. I had the Injeolmi flavored dessert first photo, with the rice cakes. So delicious! Unfortunately the lovely desserts take time to make, and orders were coming in so quick before closing that the worker working solo had to stop orders an hour before closing. Take out orders were ringing, and a line up was forming, all just before that final hour. It also didn't help that we were a group of 5, and we wanted each a dessert, and some sort of Taiyaki dessert pastry with various typws of filling. The worker stayed calm and continued to work to fill orders. Thankfully us customers were patiently waiting for our desserts. It was worth the wait. Definitely going to give another try on another day to see if wait times are consistent.
We came in with 6 people and the place was full so we were deciding to wait or do take out. After waiting a bit and saw that there was a 2 top and a 4 top table we asked if we could split our party of 6 and sit at the two tables. She first said "oh there's another party of 6 that came in ahead of you." After she realized that we were the 6 that came prior she then said "I don't have enough time to clean the tables." The tables had 3 trays on them and the tables themself were not dirty. We were super kind and understanding the whole time so it does not make sense why should was using any excuse to not let us sit down. It was also 5pm so not close to closing times at all. Have never experienced anything like this before.
This is one of my favorite dessert places, the mango binsoo is just awesome, I'm going to keep coming back. That being said, it's sometimes disappointing when some menu items are not available, or when dine-in is not an option. Other than this occasional thing, the experience is great! It's well worth waiting while the lovely proprietor prepares your desert with a smile.
First and foremost, the prices were fair, making it a great value for the delicious treats they offer. The cleanliness of the establishment was also impressive. Despite the busyness of the place, the wait was reasonable. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the lady working in the back that made our food. She truly made our experience exceptional. Her charisma, kindness, and humor brought a smile to everyone's face. Interacting with her was a delight, and she added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. We all really enjoyed our deserts but she is undoubtedly the best part about this place.
The desserts were very yummy, and refreshing, but was quiet expensive! It also took a long time for me to get my bingsoo, but that was likely Becuase I came at rush hour. It is nice to have once or twice a year, but because of the price, I could not see myself eating there too oftenRecommended dishesMango Bingsoo
