I have to change my initial review for this location. Staff has changed now. They have no idea what "Gluten Free" is now. TOPPERS AT THIS LOCATION DOES NOT HAVE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA! Any food service that says "gluten friendly", is just that: friendly with gluten!! The regular pizza is very good from comments from my "gluten friendly" friends.
Very good pizza, nice monitor display of your order status in the store so you can see how long it will be until your order is ready. Friendly and competent staff. Good price for what you get. I'm from out of town but if I get the chance I expect to order from here again.
My boyfriend and his sister ordered last night and after waiting for 1 hour for delivery decided to call. Spoke to a staff member was treated very rudely and was told that it would be another hour they we were running behind and they had to be patient. My boyfriend said never mind cancel the order as it was already 6:30 and he wanted this for his kids to eat. The staff member then said "I can't cancel it the driver already has your order". They hung up and someone an hour turned into 20 minutes. I'm grateful that the pizza made it but his customer service experience has turned him away from you guys. He understood the running behind but the rudeness and the sloppy pizza that came to his door and it was half cold was something he could forgive.
Alright here is my personal take on Topper's Pizza ordered the walk in special online all went well so it seemed phoned to check the status on the pie no record so phoned in the order brought it home,way tooooo much onion,the crust was soggy and to tell you the truth all the meat was lacking in flavour and way too salty. maybe growing pains, if u want a cheap onion,soggy crusted pizza this is the place for u,i saw people walking out with 20 pies glad i only ordered one
Shard of hard rubber/plastic was found in my pizza. Bit down into it and possibly swallowed some more. Looks like something got into the cheese grater. This should have been easy to notice white cheese vs brown plastic. I sent a message to the online customer service and never even received a response.
2 of 3 people were ill. THE greasiest pizza I've ever seen or consumed. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large Montreal Steak Spice. The former was okay but their pepperoni is pretty salty & pretty tepid. Both pizzas had the majority of topping around the middle 2/3rd of pizza: Very odd but their crust, the one not saturated with grease, was quite good. The Montreal was VERY tasty but SO MUCH GREASE! The box is now completely black inside and out. While 1 of us felt somewhat bloated after eating, they were otherwise fine. I and a family member were quite ill overnight. I actually, after eating 2 Montreal and a small slice of pepperoni, actually HEAVED up as I was hit by a wave of nausea about 10 minutes after I finished! I assume it's due to the amount of grease. It's over 12 hours later and I still don't feel well. We threw out the majority of what we bought ,today, as the crust on the Montreal can be squeezed and oil comes out! Finally: I ordered 1/3 of the Montreal without carmelized onions and was told we can't have that! Either all, 1/2, or none. That was also a first. Nice. I ordered it with 1/2, they confirmed that. I got home: We got none. Wont' be back. Might have actually turned me off pizza.
Our order took nearly two hours, and the greek pizza was made wrong. Instead of tomatoes and feta they put mushrooms. Lucky for them by the time we realized they made a mistake we were fed up and just picked them off. This town needs less rock bottom ditch pizza places not more. The only upside was that it was cheap, the downside is we spent more than five dollars on that order which is 4 dollars more than we felt it was worth.
Been waiting a few years for Toppers to come to Thunder Bay this pizza is the Best! Try the 10 Topper or bring home a bottle of Famous House Dip to make even your frozen pizza taste great. Toppers what took you so long?!?
Their 3107171 number will not work for Bell mobility customers in Thunder Bay. But walk ins are served fast. Good pizza. Owners are solid and friendly.
What a joke! Called to place an order 2 hours before they were closing and the call center lied to me and said " thunder bay location is not taking any orders for delivery due to road conditions" so I called back and said I would drive across town to pick it up because road conditions are fine it hasn't snowed since yesterday and everything is plowed. They then said "No. Not taking any orders for pickup either..." Lol!?!? What kind of orders do they take then!?!? This place will never last their reputation is already garbage in this city I just wanted to try it out for myself. Big mistake! I would rate them a 0 if I could.
