Staff was super friendly and they have a decent selection of food. Lots of space for various games Pool, Darts, Ping Pong. Came here with a group and we all had a great time for a very reasonable price.
I was out With a few friends, and I was just happy to eat and drink and have conversations. After we were done, we all requested bills individually, and I realized the orders were all mixed up with incorrect statements. I understand mistakes can happen, as the waitress claimed it was her second day on the job. However, I think new employees should shadow the more experienced ones. I was referred to the front, where I waited at the counter for over 30 minutes to have the bills corrected. Then I was almost mandated to pay the “suggested tip” indicated on the receipt, to which I declined and tipped what I thought was deserving of the service rendered. As much as I'm sympathetic with the new waitress, I feel it’s wrong for the attendant to punch in the suggested tip amount on the POS before handing it out to customers. It feels a bit like arm twisting. Moreover, sometimes I would pay 20-30% upward for exceptional services. Kindly allow for customers to make the call on what they deem fit as the tipping reward. The food was good, and I’m leaving this review for improvement purposes and for the management to fill training gaps. Thank you for the food and atmosphere. Regards.
We had our staff Christmas party here and it was great! everything was prepared on time, food came out on time, hot and delicious! The biggest highlight however was the staff, especially our waitress Shelby, she went over and beyond! We had 55 people and everyone always had a drink in their hand! She was fun and professional! Awesome job!
We used to come once a week for pool and a couple of beverages. Stopped about 8 months ago as we bought our own table. The atmosphere is good, the staff are great and the quality of the tables in good except the felt in them is terribly worn. We had a table on the east side of the hall and it was horrible. We looked at the center tables hoping to change tables but unfortunately all were in the same poor condition. Basically they are so threadbare that the playing surface shines and you can see the slate through it in places. This is a public pool hall with lots of use so wear is expected but when the wear is so severe that it affects game play and cue ball control its really not acceptable. Its too bad…we actually really like this place and would be happy to visit every couple of weeks for the atmosphere, the table condition though will keep us away.
The workers are all superstars creating positive vibes and energy. I would rather be here all day. My friends all enjoyed themselves and we plan on returning every weeks. Kudos for creating an idea like these in EDM.
Was out there with friends, played and ate food. When time came for payment the lady who was wearing a red color gown dress looked after the bills, mixed up everything to charge me 62 dollars more. I would say she needed the money or maybe something went wrong at thier end which I had pay for her mess. Management should hire trained and experienced attendants at the counter.
I always like this place. But today I had very bad experience. They charge me for 2 beers when I only had one. I tried to explain to Cashier numerous times in good way but no result. I had no problem paying another 6 dollar on my bill. But that was just unfair. I felt very bad and disappointed. Staff was not even trying to understand the situation and refuse to check cameras.
Tables were good, especially the snooker. Lots of space, good service, going back in the morning for breakfast and play couple of games before head out of town.
Really busy place friendly staff and decent enough food Edmonton needs more places like this
Really lucky to have a place like this in town! All kinds of pool tables here plus ping pong and board games! Good to see this place is always packed - these bars have been closing down lately but we sure need this! One star off for the food - the burgers are great but nachos and other appetizers which I tried a few times are consistently a let down. The staff has really gotten better over the last year or two as well!
