This restaurant is eccentric. From the humble outside you wouldn’t expect it to be such a gem. But when you go in, the atmosphere is quirky, the clientele are mostly regulars and locals, and the staff are so warm and kind. The place has a warm personality and the food really is “top notch”. Like your grandma made it or something. The main room is colourful with trinkets on ledges, old paintings, vintage class chandeliers, and mismatched furniture that suits the place. The back room is like an old-timey saloon with antiques adorning the walls and a big antler chandelier. Highly recommend this diamond in the rough. The energy in there is absolutely immaculate. You’ll walk out full and happy. I don’t know what it is about this spot but there is just such positive vibes in here. Its rejuvenating.
Refill centre for your propane tank. 24$ for 20lb tank, and they came out while they were closed to do it. Just call ahead and they will likely deal with You. Wonderful People.
My 5 stars is for the restaurant. It's beyond unusual and the food was great! I wish I took some pictures of the food. I just ate it very fast. Sorry. Food & drinks: Good Food

If you are looking for a simple, clean and affordable place. This is it. No luxury but practicality. The owner was super nice and accommodating. I was surprised to find a microwave, a coffee machine and mini fridge at that price. The room is spacious and the back window faces and green and flowery patch of land. A couple of garden chairs would be a nice addition to enjoy your coffee in the morning.They charge 10$ for dogs but the room price is not excessive at all and it is much appreciated to find a dog friendly place in the area.
Friendly Service and Great Food!!!! I happened to stumble across this place in my search for propane tank refill late at night on a Saturday night. Not only did I get my propane tank filled, but I also noticed that there was a quaint restaurant on the property so I chose to get a meal as well to support the local restaurants. It was their second day re-opening after wave 2 of the pandemic, and I opted to go with the daily special. I took the meal home, and to my surprise it was delicious, delicious, delicious. Hats off to the chef and the lovely owner who filled my propane tank on a late Saturday night while my food was getting prepared. 5/5 star on customer service and quality food. I will definitely go back.

Have never stayed there but am a local and have been dining here since the 70s. Best Poutine in Wiarton. Order the Hungry Man great breakfast. Hope the Sunday buffet comes back when Covid is over.
We stopped here for the first time, today. We loved our food. Big portions of french fries with generous amounts of gravy. Delicious sandwiches and breakfast offers. Good coffee, and the battered mushrooms were almost a meal by themselves!!!!!! The server was great. She really was on top of it, and this is when there was nearly a full room of customers! Super awesome prices. We will be back!
We ordered take out chicken schnitzel with mushrooms and enjoyed it very much. The chicken was nice and crisp on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Came with our choice of potato and a nice mix of veggies. Very tasty.
