Food was good! The ramen was interesting, as they have unique flavors. I would stick with their fried foods and other things, though. Would get the katsu and fried chicken again. It is a bit sweet for some palettes I would say. Staff was definitely friendly. Bathroom was very clean.
Decent on campus noodle bar. Curry is pretty good and enjoyed the pork belly buns, although the filling to bun ratio was a bit off. The pork and chicken katsu were a bit dry and hard to eat. Pork definitely > chicken. Happy with the portions, service, and overall vibes.
The food here is always delicious. The pho tastes fresh and the appetizers come out quickly and are fun. The reason I only give four stars is that we received lettuce in two dishes recently that was old reddish, turning colors and had a small bug in it. I know this is hard to avoid for a restaurant, but it's also pretty unappetizing, you know?
Wow, the ramen!!!!!! I’ve had Chinese, Japanese and Korean ramen before but this dish makes me remember what good ramen taste like in the mother country. The portion was fitting for big foot, the pork belly was ugly delicious and the kids dishes were also outstanding. The ramen bowl is so good it’d make a sinner repent!
The portion was more than I can personally eat and the price was fair. The food tasted fresh and delicious. The only complaint I have is the waiter would run around so he was hard to catch and would run away when we weren't done ordering more drinks. It also took forever to get our check. I would definitely come again though. If you read my reviews please follow me on google reviews. Thank you .
Had to wait to get in this place on a Friday evening, but it was worth it. Sat at the bar and got to interact with the helpful and friendly staff. I went off the menu and had them make me a kutsu chicken noodle bowl that was huge and delicious. Preceding dinner was an order of pork gyoza, and a bottle of sake.Food: 5/5
Very bad ramen soup…. I ordered hiyashi cold ramen but the soup/sauce is purely rice vinegar… the pork belly taste like stone and TOO HARD… there is also a green onion root on top of my noodles….
Great place in Ann Arbor! Went on a Wednesday night so luckily there was no wait. Completely understand the hype! Ordered the edamame which came hot and seasoned perfectly, the fried shrimp bun which had a slaw with it absolutely amazing with the right amount of spice! For the main dish ordered the Pho. Huge portion of pho with a generous amount of noodles; the broth had a great aroma and tasted delicious. Will definitely go back again’
PHENOMENAL PHO!!! The richest, most soul soothing broth I’ve ever had. The oxtail is buttery heaven, the crispy pork added to the pho is outstanding. The pork bun was awesome, as well. So worth the hour drive.
I was a bit shocked when my friend told our server she found a hair in her pho and he asked if she wanted another bowl and when she said no he just said “okay” and walked away as a fellow server I think it’s the server and mgmt’s responsibility to proactively makes things right, not the customer!! We felt awkward so we just paid and left lol but yeah the server didn’t really seemed shocked or sorry so maybe this is the norm at noodle bar? Still tipped 20% tho as u should
