Tommy's Bar-B-Q

Food portions are HUGE! The schnitzel dinner for $25 caught my eye as it said "huge" portion and I was skeptical at first. Coleslaw, cornbread, and beans was delicious. The beef ribs was very tender. The regular pork ribs and chicken needed some sauce for additional flavor, but it was decent. Great service for a group of 5. Went around 7pm for dinner and the place had ample room for a Friday night. Dessert was delicious and a bonus! Our server gave us an extra serving of cheesecake at no additional cost as my sister said she wanted to share mine, instead she got her own!

We had an amazing dinner yesterday, St Patrick’s Day at Tommy ‘s Barbecue with the restaurant’s delicious so tender juicy pork ribs , crispy French fries, with salad & muffin .I had my margarita , take out huge slice yummy tiramisu . On top of this wonderful dinner , our server Leslie , was very friendly, accommodating and so attentive. Not even asking her , she offered extra plate, salad . Always there, smiling , asking if we need anything else . Thanks a lot Leslie . Rest is staff friendly and accommodating as well . Will come back & recommend Tommy’s Barbecue.

Tommy's BBQ absolutely exceeded our expectations in the quality of food and customer service. Our large group was in town for a hockey tournament and we were unable to confirm the exact pick up time as it depended on the results of the games throughout the weekend. They patiently worked with us and our ever changing schedule, and our pick up after closing time. The food was so delicious, best cornbread I've ever had, ribs and chicken were meaty and juicy, and the variety of sauces really tops it off. Next time we will be sure to save room for dessert!

Ended up here after Firehouse subs was packed. Nothing really caught my eye on the menu so I ended up ordering the servers recommendation which was the pulled pork sandwich. It was large, pork was tender but could have used more sauce. The cheese on it is a bit weird, and it made the BBQ sauce on the table just slide off. The wife ordered the clubhouse and said it was ok. Needed more mayo or sauce. Ordered dessert, the apple pie which I wasn't aware it was a crumble topping one was trash. Dry, dense and little flavour. The rocky road cheesecake was pretty good. The place is very much for the older crowd, we were the youngest people there. The whole place was full of seniors which explains the basic menu items.

Average meal at a not so average price. I ordered the beef burger. The meat was clearly from the frozen box, the fries tasted like McCain, overall its OK. Nothing special.Food: 3/5

This was my second time ordering from Tommy's, this time I wanted something different. I ordered a Reuben on Rye sandwich. It also came with some coleslaw, a pickle and Russian dressing on the side. I substituted the fries for green beans. It did not disappoint and there was a good amount of shaved corned beef in the sandwich. I would definitely order this again!

First time here. Had the Macedonian Čevabčiči dinner. Truly homemade. Great flavour with a fantastic coleslaw. The staff was fantastic. Waitress took the time to go through our questions and answer them all. The bussers made sure our empty plates and glasses were removed and also were there to help us pack our leftovers. One thing you will notice if you are from the area is the pastries from the old Tunnel BBQ. Strawberry Romanoff is available like in the old days.

The wife and I were shopping next door and wandered over to try Tommy's. We were very happy with the prompt,friendly service and how quickly we received our food. The food was very delicious especially the coleslaw! Huge portions and incredibly good food. We will definitely be back!

This had to be one of the best dining experiences we have had in years! We had a waitress who has worked for 35 years for this family and she was such a delight! We met Tommy and reminisced about the old days of going to Tunnel BBQ downtown back in the 80s. The bus boys were all so friendly and efficient. Usually you are fortunate for wait staff to visit you once at your table. They would just pass by and see that empty plates could be taken away. The food was excellent, portions were great and I am not one to post on dining experiences but I felt that they deserved to be recognized for the dining service they provide to their customers. Thank you for the extra treat of a complimentary dessert! We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing, the mood is perfect. And the server was top notch, she was kind and very funny. I never caught her name but she had big black glasses, her service plus the food quality warrants more than 5 starsFood: 5/5
