Tolland Eye Care LLC

I went here because my eye doctor retired, and this place was close to home. My first experience with Tolland Eye Care was an eye exam with one of their doctors and it was good, but I was prescribed contacts for my eyes that were too strong and caused me to have migraines. I called the office to tell them the contacts were not working and caused me to have these headaches. Unfortunately that put the staff in complete confusion, after 20 minutes on the phone I was able to get a test pair to pick up. After a week of wearing those contacts I called to let them know they worked and I needed my prescription updated. They made it seem like they understood me perfectly, but they hadn’t. When I received my prescription in the mail it was still the wrong prescription. I called today after getting the wrong prescription, and got attitude while talking to one of the secretaries. I was told that I never called to finalize my prescription. The woman was so incredibly rude on the phone, I was completely flabbergasted. Once I get my correct prescription from them, I will no longer deal with this office. Their customer service is absolutely terrible, and I have never had to go through so much trouble to get my actually prescription right. Save your eyes and your money and find another eye doctor to go to!

Eyeglass prescriptions are good for two years in Connecticut unless the doctor puts an earlier expiration date on the form. Doctor put an expiration date of one year on my form so I'd have to go back for another exam. Brought this to their attention asking if the doctor would update the form without the experation date and he wouldn't do it. I'm obviously not going back.

Doctor. and staff are amazing and friendly. Great with adults and children. Love going here with my family for our eye care needs!

Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I switched to tolland eye care from one closer and I'm happy I did!!! They also see my girls and they r happy to go see them!
