If you are looking for the best croissants cheese and butter in Bowmanville, you can get them at The Toasted Walnut. They are so fresh and flaky that they beat any coffee chain offering. They offer a variety of scones and sweets that makes it hard not to walk out with everything. Make sure to stop in and treat yourself while supporting this local shop.
The amazing smell of fresh baked food when you open the door is something. We went for breakfast the service we got was so warm and friendly. Plus the breakfast was tasty and fresh. We got the Avacado Toast and French toast. A must visit place in Downtown Bowmanville. Definitely recommended.
Such a cute little place in thre heart of Bowmanville..with home made goodies and lunch.. loved it ..the soup was amazing..butternut squash mango..yum
Had lunch with friends. Enjoyed a wrap with signature salad. Generous portions, great flavours. There was a huge dessert selection I didn't indulge today. Service was great. There was gluten free option. And a High Tea option.Food: 4/5
Cosey little place with freshly baked goods. The pastries were delicious, however those breakfast sandwiches are highway robbery. The egg was dense, they use plain sliced bread - there was nothing that justified the price tag. The menu doesn't say, but fruit is only for dine in. All of this left a bad taste in my mouth so I will not be a return customer despite how good the pastries are. I would recommend people stop by for a coffee and pastry but avoid the breakfast sandwiches!!

We have stopped here several times. I have never been disappointed. Such a great bakery in the old downtown part of Bowmanville. This is what has been missing downtown Bowmanville for many years. A great downtown bakery. My favorite is still the Ginger whoopie pie. Likely you will want to share this treat. Take some time sit enjoy talk with friends meet new people. Is that not what great food is for?
I was browsing the downtown Bowmanville shops & stopped for lunch here. Great little cafe with amazing delicious food & friendly staff. They also have many take out delights from baked goods to preserves. Highly recommend!
Such a cute place to come for tea or brunch! The soups and sandwiches are made fresh and they have so many treats you can eat warm and take on the go.
Very healthy place to eat and great place to have a meal. Lots of good take out.Food: 5/5
