Wanted light dinner. There were no options on menu so decided to split a meal. We were charged $5 even though we were not told there would be a plate fee. This restaurant was not fancy, mostly serving pizza and large plates. No reason to suspect a plate fee. Also surprised by limited meal options and sticky table.

We had chicken parm sandwich for lunch. I have had better chicken sandwichs at Burger King for alot less than $12. Really a sub par experience. Horrible food for a large price.

I didn't hate it. I gave this place 4 stars because it has so much potential that I think a few changes would get it there fast!
My first thought is the entrance. When you walk in, if there is anyone waiting for a table, people are either standing around people who are eating or outside. There wasn't a hostess, so when we walked in we weren't really sure where to go. The bus boy saw us and immediately greeted us, cleaned a table and sat us. (You'll hear a lot about this kid. If I owned a restaurant, I'd recruit him!)
So, we are sitting there, get our drinks from the waitress and I see the TV. There are 2 tv's. So, while we sat there we watched American Ninja Warrior. I expect this at a pub or a bar, but this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant.
This brings me to my next critique: this place needs to decide...pub or restaurant? Onion rings, home made chips or bruchetta...i feel like maybe they should have a late night menu and a nicer Italian menu for dinner. They served the Italian dressing in a quart sized squeeze bottle. Even an empty wine bottle would be better. (Photo included)
I need to say some positives...the food is GOOD! Even the bread (which the bus boy admitted was not freshly made) was yummy! Warm bread with butter, veal picatta, veal parm...all delicious and huge portions!
The bus boy noticed we were done eating and wrapped our food. He was very observant and should wait tables!
Overall, the place seems sort of mixed up, but the food and service made up for it ten fold.
