Good Guyanese style Chinese food. The pork fried rice was very good . Definitely made in the Guyanese style . It was a very good portion for $15 . The mixed wonton soup was salty ,but the portion was way too small , I believe the price was $12 , and so the portion was at least half of what it should be. The total bill was $34 for I special fried rice , soup and one soda. I will go back to try the chow mien and the pepper shrimp.
Quick review! Absolutely horrible food. I ordered fried rice and chowmein today. Honestly, very bland , no taste. For a Guyanese Chinese restaurant I expected bora and lots of green onions and a tasty set of food without the use of a frozen vege medley. The chowmein is a dry set of noodles with a shimmer of vege and no green onions. Hot sau e is also spoiled. Bad smell with a white froth sitting on top.......From the time I called in to order, the girl answered the phone by saying hi, no acknowledgement of the establishment. She even got my order wrong even though I repeated it 5 times. I WASTED MY MONEY TODAY, PLEASE, IM WARNING YOU, DONT WASTE YOUR OWN. I'LL BE CALLING THE OWNER TOMORROW ASVISING HIM OF MY EXPERIENCE. 1st AND LAST TIME. YOU NEED TO IMPROVE IN SERVICE, QUALITY OF FOOD AND TASTE. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Timehri's has catered for our Hindu wedding 6 years ago. Since then, various family members have continued to use them to cater puja ceremonies. Food is always on point, will definitely continue to use them.Food: 5/5
I ordered 3 dishes, the pepper wings was excellent. The chilli chicken was tasty but the coating flour on the chicken tasted stale. The mixed chow mein was just dry and noodles were hard. I'm sure the food here is better than this. If only the staff wasn't so busy, I could explain it to them
The food here deserves zero stars. We were looking forward to authentic Guyanese fried rice and lowmein. The beef lowmein was bland, they just slapped some sauce on the noodles. The sauce had no flavor, everything was bland including the vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken was like rubber. The fried rice had a slightly better taste but it was plain tasting. The jerk pork was the most flavorful. It's a disgrace overall that people can sell food like this. It was and I am not exaggerating, the WORST food I ever ate, period!
Seeing all the positive reviews I decided to give this place a chance but the food lacked flavour. Would not recommend.
My mom and I worked with Paul from Timehri to cater my wedding on Sept 5th.The usual Guyanese 7 curry dishes but with amazing taste! Everything w tasty and we received many compliments from our guests. From picky aunties and uncles to even some of our Canadian friends who never had Guyanese food - everyone loved it! Delivery was done on time and everything was great! I would definitely recommend Timehri Restaurant to cater your next event
I've been coming here since 2008. Paul has always welcomed me with kindness and consistently good food. My go to has always been the jerk chicken fried rice. Highly recommended!!!
Found a hair in the chicken fried rice I ordered last night. Disgusting.Food: 1/5
I catered my Hindu wedding on Oct 8 with Timehri Restaurant and the food was excellent. Pooran made the traditional west indian 7 curries menu items perfectly and I received so many positive compliments after the wedding on the food. I was very pleased with Timehri and especially Pooran’s service and quality of food. He delivered all the food items to the venue on time and in generous portions and the food was fresh and tasty. I couldn’t ask for a better caterer.
