Tim Hortons

Food prices at Pearson Airport are definitely on the higher side. We walked around Terminal 1’s domestic flight area checking out the options, but after seeing a salad priced at $27 just down the hall at another restaurant, we decided to avoid the price gouging and went to Tim Hortons instead.nnWe ordered two chicken bacon club wraps, two bottles of Diet Coke, and a chocolate milk, which came to just over $30 with tax. While that’s relatively affordable compared to some of the other options, the quality was pretty standard. It’s one of those situations where you know airport food is expensive, but it still feels odd paying that much for something so basic. ‍

Air Canada suggests arriving at YUL 1.5 hours before your flight. I would suggest adding another hour to that if you’re planning to stop by for a coffee. Woefully slow service. Apparently coffee is fresh every 20 mins, I was able to stand in line for over 40 minutes and didn’t see it refreshed twice. Must have just missed it…

Ordered a medium black coffee. It is filled to the brim and start squirting out of the lid burning both my hands. If this happens in the States it would be an automatic litigation for lack of duty of care.

Food seemed a little more expensive than a regular tim Hortons location. They do not allow you to scan for points or redeem deals. You do not get a Tim Hortons cup either.nnEmployees at the cash seem they like they really don't want to be here.

A really nice chain of cafe in the airport after you collect your baggage. A great place to stop and grab some food when waiting for either the bus or a friend. There is a great selection of food to choose from at a great price.
