The food is standard Tim's fare which isn't amazing hence the rating. The atmosphere same but this one is nice and clean.nDespite that going there in the morning is a delight for any local the staff on the early morning shift are a pure delight and honestly make my day. There is one guy there in particular that goes out of his way to be incredibly friendly with all the customers and asks about each one and knows people by their orders. This location is incredibly lucky to have such an amazing shift like this. I literally can choose between 5 different Tim's on my way to work and this one I go to for the staff interaction. If a manager or owner reads this. GIVE THAT SHIFT A RAISE!!!!!!
Used to be a good option for helping yourself towards early diabetes with that double-double. Lately has been staffed by a mix of foreign workers and locals who appear completely untrained in customer service. No longer a friendly Canadian experience. Tables and seats appear designed to be uncomfortable to make you gulp it down and rush out.nnMcDs coffee tastes better. Here the coffee tastes as if filtered through a well worn logger’s sock.
I’m not sure if the employees that have no work ethic or pride in what they do- the manager that pushes the employees to give burnt, incomplete orders or the owners who care more about profits and charging customers high prices with no respect if they get proper food or complete orders. When did screwing over people become this main stream. I hadn’t been to a Duncan Tim Hortons in a very long time and today thought I would- solidified I won’t spend my money there again.nTwo turkey melts with no mayo and both had completely black burnt bread. Bagel was burnt with uncooked bacon. Really- no one cares do they.
The food looked fine, seems they were only serving locals when were were there. Waited in line, got to the cash register but no one would take our order. We left with out being able to order.
The staff are very rude and judgmental, especially to people who look like they may be homeless and may possibly have substance abuse issues or mental issues. I've been absolutely disgusted in what I have witnessed and how cruel the employees have been, and this is 99% of the time I have been there. Their customer service is the worst out of all the Tim Hortons in Cowichan Valley, with the Tim Hortons beside McDonalds following closely behind with the same negative issues. I still go to these places because I love the coffee, so I put up with the disrespect I have witnessed and received myself several times. Why do i go back? Strictly because I love their coffee and convenience.
