As a Canadian I’m so excited to be able to taste a piece of home while here in the UK. The selection here is more than I would find at home. I’ve ordered my usual coffee here however it does taste not as strong as in Canada. I tried the caramel apple fritter and that was lovely. Also ordered was the big breakfast wrap which was good. The hash brown was a bit disappointing but who comes here for hash browns anyways. Will return for future fixes when I’m needing a Timmies!
I waited a while before I wrote this review as I've been back a few times to really gain an understanding for what the hype is about. The food is very very very basic, literally nothing to be excited about. Chicken burger is ok, nothing special just ok. Beef burger is something you would probably get from a standard high road cafe again nothing to be excited about at all. Doughnuts are okay though but again nothing I would go out of my way to queue for. Service is a bit slow for a fast food chain plus way too many people in the kitchen area. Store is new so it's relatively clean but give it a few months... Not so sure. Not worth the hype unfortunately.
After hearing about them from friends in North America, I had to try it. I got a bunch of things to try, and their signature coffee came out the winner. Excellent fast food coffee, far better than any other chain coffee. The rest of the food was good but not mind blowing, but def a go to if you want a decent meal. I got the egg and cheese in an English muffin, the veggie sausage and egg/cheese sandwich also a English muffin, their waffle fries, and the tuna melt and pancakes. Like I said, everything was tasty, but the coffee was the winner for me. You also get a choice of single cream instead of milk which is meant to be be like American half and half!
The service and atmosphere inside was nice. But, the savoury wasn't as good as I expected. The hot dogs were a disappointment, it was plain with ketchup and mustard. I was expecting at least like a nice relish or onions inside the buns, but nope! For the double bacon burger, it was OK. The prices for hot dogs and burger were quite unreasonable. The only thing that made the savoury food taste good were the lattice/waffle fries. Although, the doughnuts and timbits were delicious! There were a variety of flavours to choose from. There were also loads of cold and hot drinks to choose from. We had hot chocolate, mocha and green tea which was lovely! Overall, it wasn't worth having savoury food here but it was worth having doughnuts and hot drinks. Parking: Lots of parking outside. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface, so can enter and exit easily
Tried it, It is not a place I will go regularly, once a while will do. The chicken is halal, NOT the beef! They could have presented the food a bit better. Good news for BlueLightCard, you will get a discount!
The food was great. The crispy chicken wrap and the burger was good. The lattice fries was delicious. The coffee isn't very great or same as the real Canadian one. The location is nice inside with lots of seating and quiet space. The service was fast and efficient. The honey cruller donut was fresh and delicious. One star less for the disappointing coffee.
Ordered a Tim coffee and Sandwich, not really the best coffee poor quality. The sandwich on the other hand was surprisingly ok with the exception that the bread wasn’t of good quality. The atmosphere of the shop is nice, good setting and self service machines. Don’t recommend the counters as the staff seem clueless.
I visited on 3 November 2022. The food is an absolute rip-off considering the quantities given. The meals taste decent but they are nothing special. I would recommend giving your custom to local or completely independent non-franchise businesses instead.
Average burgers are not worth the money paid. Would recommend Macdonalds/KFC as these are much better quality and cheaper. Fries were very good and so were drinks. Too expensive however.Food: 2/5
First visit after a length wait for Timmies to migrate south in the UK. As a Canadian, this was a pilgrimage and very rewarding! Everything was great save for slightly messy table area and overflowing bins. Server was hugely patient with our massive order for me and 4 guests. Came for the doughnuts, coffee and nostalgia; stayed for the sandwiches and lattice fries. If you are loyal to Costa, you will LOVE Tim's I'm sure. Try the Apple Fritters eh Vegetarian options: meat-free options Parking: Plenty of parking and a drive thru Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible
