"Churis Bread is a proud family business, which was born on a Sunday morning five years ago when we had just created our sourdough starter levain. Likewise a family member or a pet, we needed to name our levain. So, I asked my youngest son for suggestions to name our levain. Immediately he suggested Churis, which was the name of his preferred stuffed animal. From that moment our home started to smell fresh bread during the mornings.There is nothing better than smelling bread baking. In Churis Bread we believe that a bread must be fresh, and made from scratch like our grandmas used to do. Our products are made every day from scratch without any preservative or unknown ingredient. We are passionate about producing great breads."

Outstanding new bakery in Old North! I stopped in today and bought the bacon & cream cheese pull-apart as well as a hazelnut babka. Excellent quality baked food! I will definitely be back for more. It’s also a bonus that they are open 7 days and weekdays at 8am.
This bakery is a treasure in the city. Their dough is one of the best I’ve ever tried and reminds you of homemade taste. Another surprise is their Brazilian buns that are fresh, crunchy, and cost you less than a dollar. Will visit this bakery more for sure!
I first heard about this bakery on CBC in a spotlight on new businesses. My wife and I went there shortly afterwards and wow are we impressed! The cleanliness is second to none. The bread is just incredible. So much better than grocery store. The owner is super friendly, and very knowledgeable in his craft. What a gem of a business. London is so lucky to have something like this.
Excellent customer service, delicious food! Donut is amazing good and not deep fried so not as heavy, fresh bread, croissant is one of the bests I ever have had!
My husband bought a loaf of sourdough bread today. Since having his first bite, he has talked non-stop about it. It is the absolute best bread he has ever tasted. He can’t wait to try the other products. Also, the owners were lovely! Go there—you won’t be disappointed.
This bakery has quickly become my favourite in London. They have a great variety of sweet and savoury treats that are perfect to eat on your own or to bring to gatherings. The staff is the friendliest and always willing to help make up your mind, because you’ll wanna buy one of each.
I stopped by with my kids to try this bakery out for the first time. We got a variety of scones and the chocolate croissant. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. I'm so happy to have such a lovely place in the neighborhood. Can't wait to go back and try more of their products.
Fantastic bakery, we picked up two Boston cream donuts to try today and they were phenomenal. Light and airy, packed full of cream. We will definitely be going back and trying what else they have to offer.
A wonderful Bakery! Breads are all preservative free, baked fresh daily, many varieties. The Banana bread is to die for! The shop owner and his family run the bakery. They also have some Brazilian treats. Go early for best selection!
We went to the bakery for the first time today and we were very pleased with our purchase. The Italian bread was delicious and the Boston cream donuts were outstanding. We will definitely be back!
