The grocery items are the same price you get at Metro or Super C. The store is always a mess with inventory blocking the aisles. The store smells like old dust, I will never go there again.
2 staff really ruined my experience at this particular store. Held up the whole line due to their error regarding a pricing issue and they incredibly gave me attitude when they were in the wrong. Definitely won't be going there again, ever!nnEDIT: to err is human, to forgive divine.nnEDIT2: they pulled the same feigned ignorance yet again, always failing to honor the price policy due to their mistake and sneakily avoids abiding by the law. I will no longer patronize this place as the owner is just too cheap and never does what's right. I tried to give them a chance time and time again but they never learn. How hard is it to just be a decent business and play by the rules/obey the law??
Fluffy fur blankets! I always had a good experience. I kinda took it for granted and overlooked it as neither good nor bad. But I wrote many 1 star reviews about other stores in Saint-Jetome who were rude, manipulated me to sell atuff I never needed. So yes, giant tiger is a pleasant experience. It's actually rare that I don't have horror comments to give, so yes, 5 stars. When I think about 5 stars, I'd think about fancy hotels or restaurants, but the people who truly deserve them are the stores who make you happy to return. And this giant tiger does. Now that I think about it, it's the fancier places that tend to be arrogant jerks more often. The employees are very nice.
You can find little gems for cheap!
Today I did shopping in this Tigre Géant and I wanted to ask about something. The Québécois lady in the counter was so polite and said she doesn’t have any English. She called another friend of her from other counters. She responded me in French in a very fast manner. I smiled and said sorry but I don’t have French that much yet. Everything was ok till I heard like «Then you need to learn French! » in a very impolite way while I was leaving. And this was from a person who is another immigrant here explicitly.. It is very rude to advise people that you don’t know about her conditions. So this is not a comment about the product quality of this store but the communication manner of some workers here. It needs to be improved:
