I was a little worried to order because of a few past reviews but I went for it today and I can surly say that any issues have been rectified! Some of the best Shanghai noodles I’ve had in a long time. They did a great job and if you had a bad experience in the past year or so I would definitely recommend giving them another shot.
They lost my order and then tried saying i didn’t order ; after another employee already pulled up my order and verified. Said it would be prepared next as “they were very busy “ waited a hour and finally left without my order. Staff was fairly rude about the whole situation , food is decent but it’s run poorly and without “taste “
I've ordered from here many times over 100 dollars spent and enjoyed, however complain and I quote "you don't eat here no more." All it was is I live on the east side of town so of course there's this stigma that I'm trying to rip them off not the chase. The two orders of lemon chicken an one of General Tao where dry'n'crispy and very little sauce everything else was good called to rectify it and they tried to take the food back, thus breaking rules that existed before Covid. When told to call the cops because I refused to give the foul food sitting in my green bin they very threateningly said "We don't need them my husband is on the way." The best part the food they sent looked worst than what I had originally complained about quite literally floating in water. Clearly done in spite just look at pics and keep in mind its not sauce.
The food was not good..all cold had to heat it up myself...not going back.
Food portions are huge. Everything tasted great. Our first time here and we will be back again for sure. Our new favorite Chinese food place.
I don’t understand how this place is a 4.2 star?? We ordered $100 worth of food which was our mistake I admit. We should have tried just a little bit to see if we liked the place. Opening up the boxes and containers on the table and just by sight alone I was disappointed . It all looked very pale, undercooked and boring. After taking a few bites of food I knew we had made a mistake. It is very bland. No seasonings, nothing in the fried rice other than the meat. And to be honest can’t really say it was fried, more like some soy sauce on white rice and some meat bits on top. The chicken wings were undercooked, the fried wontons were barely fried, they were still soft and the pan fried noodles were nothing more than boiled noodles in a box. All in all I would say it wasn't edible. I can’t say it was good or great or even just ok. None of us went back for seconds, in-fact all of us left food on our plates, which never happens with Chinese in this house. Now I have a lot of leftovers that no one wants. There are many great Chinese food restaurants in the Niagara Region, this in my opinion isn’t one of them. The staff were very friendly and it was clean inside but sadly their food was not a 4.2 star. The 1 star I gave it was for the staff and cleanliness inside. I cannot give the food any stars.
Not the best anymore. Always liked this place but now I don't know. Food just wasn't good.
ONLINE PRICES ARE 25-40% lower than current menu, and have not been updated for several years. Order was late. Food was very good!
Great wonton soup, love thier Shanghai Noodles Curry Vermicelli on the menu. Pricing is ok, but right now everyone is increasing. Super friendly service. They have a generator, and we're open during the last power outage. Will definiately be back. I believe they also have delivery.
I like the food but one time me and my sister and our socially awkward selves stood waiting for some one to notice us for 20 minutes, never got to order, that's on us tho. its like the only great place after the old one closed. The foods great but sometimes wanes in quality, maybe they were just busy.
