We got Steamed Soup Filled Dumpling w/ Pork, Sesame Biscuit w/ Minced Meat & Preserved Veg, Pork Jello, and Salty Sticky Rice w/ Fried Dough Stick. Their Soup Dumpling came loaded with Pork Filling and Soup was bursting out as soon as you bite into it, it was flavourful and totally a Shanghainese meal staple! Pork Jello tasted wonderful, it was actually a Cold Dish of tender Pork and Collagen rich Broth that was set into Jello form! Salty Sticky Rice was absolutely fantastic, it had crispy Fried Dough, Preserved Veg, Pork Floss wrapped with perfectly cooked Glutinous Rice, it was a childhood favourite, and this place made it so good! Sesame Biscuit w/ Minced Meat came with 4 pieces of crispy Biscuit for you to load up the Minced Meat, the flavour was BOMB but it lacked Preserved Veg…

They have a variety of choices on the menu. Very authentic Shanghai food. Noodles are good. There is a list of food items that they have awarded prizes for. It's really tasty but the is quite small and with 5 pieces not even 6. The sticky rice is good and fresh. The restaurant is not busy on weekdays or week nights. They made the dessert when we order it. $13.99 for 4 pieces. It's these best one that I have ever had. See photo. But the server said weekend is very busy and recommend to reserve a table. I will definitely go back to try other awarded items. Some items are not cheap but worth to try and the portion is reasonable.

Authentic and traditional Shanghai cuisine in Toronto. This is a small restaurant and they cook variety of dishes from appetizers, entrees to desserts. Tonight we are a la carte for 8 of us for family gathering. They actually have value set menu that I would like to try again for a smaller family group.

Wow, we have never had such a tiny portion with that price range. The cold appetizer is around $15 and it came out in a 5 inch plate. We don't mind paying, but it is double the price of other Shanghai restaurants, but even smaller portion than others. Definitely not coming back.

I was thinking to order a 2 person combo deal with a soup, an appetizer, 2 dishes for $43.99. I wanted for lunch and possibly pack it back for dinner as well because I’m just one person going in to have a lunch. I didn’t read the reviews before I go in since I thought this is Shanghai Style. The fired bun is just frozen products from supermarket. No surprise. The 2 dish combo I ordered stir fried beef and sweet and sour fish. It’s not really shanghai style. The stir fried beef tasted extremely salty and not fresh. The fish is deep fried LOL and it’s like sweet and sour pork Cantonese style even with pineapple inside. The most important thing is, both dishes are like SNACK SIZE! $43.95 I eat them all and not even feel full. Would NEVER EVER come back again. Overall taste terrible, no surprise, very old school dishes. Not recommend

The food is really fresh & healthy, authentic Nanjing taste, but the Shanghai dishes also are very delicious & decent. The service is perfect, they are very friendly and conversational!

Would give 0 star ig I can. Very bad experience. Today is Chinese New year Eve, the staffs who looks like owners sons, their attitude are extremely bad. We had reservations since 430 and we haven't had any food 40 mins later. We also see a long line up of people waiting for pickups and some waited since 4pm. We tried to speak to the manager/owner and was told they got no time for us. The staff stated to swearing at us at some point. Please avoid this place.

Ordered Fried Rice Cake with Pork & Shepherd’s Purse, hardly see any veggie and pork. ONLY RICE CAKE!!!! Not really Shanghai food. Saw them handling food withou washing hands. Won't go there again!

Best authentic Shanghai restaurant food is amazing and the owner is such a sweetheart. So many dishes to choose but my go to would be Shanghai rice Came, Peking duck, broccoli with egg white and fish and of course soup dumpling and pork.

Consistently great food and very friendly owners. Some of the best Shanghai food in town. I highly recommend the xiao long bao as it's always hot and soupy with a thin wrapper, and the pan fried buns.
