Thyme Cafe and Books

First time visiting all vegan and gluten free cafe on Tuesday. Oh those Tuesdays.... Coffee worth 5 dollars you get it for 2.50 isnt amazing to start your day like that. ‍ Great vibe, great staff and tons of books to read yay...

I picked up take-out dinner from Thyme Cafe in September 2022 and it was my first time visiting. This is an all-vegan cafe with gluten free options which I appreciated, and everything is homemade and fresh. I ordered the Thyme Burger on gluten free sourdough and the Quinoa Almond Feta Salad. Everything tasted delicious and flavourful! The almond feta was unique and not something I would know how to make on my own, so it was great to try that. The homemade black bean burger was amazing and moist and I loved the cheese sauce. The cafe is small and has some indoor seating, and they also have used books for sale. The staff were friendly and the cafe had overall good vibes. The prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely eat here again and am already planning what to order next on the menu. Can’t wait to return and will tell my friends about this cafe!

I love this cute and quaint little cafe! They have a great variety of food options, all extremely tasty, home cooked, and the price is really amazing too. The staff are all super kind and friendly, the coffee is great, and you can even browse books while you're there. So much to love, thank you!Food: 5/5

My daughter and have been wanting to try this Cafe for years now, knowing that the owners of Mondragon are running it. We were so upset when Mondragon closed We finally made it there today and our experience there failed to disappoint. We had the Thyme and Southern Fried Tofu burgers and soup. The food was all AMAZING! Loved the cozy atmosphere too. Just felt guilty there was no tip option though. Looking forward to returning to try everything on their menu. We will definitely return again and tell all our friends, vegan and not vegan. My daughter is vegan but l am not. The food is so fantastic you don't have to be vegan to enjoy it!

I wasn't sure what to expect for my first time there. I was looking for a quick lunch within walking distance of where I was. It's a cute little Cafe with lots of books to choose from. The food was delicious. Service was friendly but unreliable, hence the 3 stars. I never received my drink or my muffin I asked for it on my way out.

Nicest staff, quaint little cafe, wholesome food, great selection of warm drinks, and a book store to boot. What’s not to like about this wonderful place!

Felt like I was in Portlandia episode...lol... a used book store, cozy vegan cafe , and super nice owners..ticks all the boxes. I just got the sweet potato soup with lime and a cappacino but both were excellent and will be back soon to try the veggie burger. Wish I lived closer but bonus they are located near my therapists office ..lol

Excellent cafe with gluten free options! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Love the coffee shop / used bookstore vibe.

Delicious vegan food and wonderful people who own and operate the business. I have tried many items on the menu and they are very delicious. My favourite is the Southern Fried tofu sandwich. The family running the restaurant is kind, caring and take pride in the vegan food they create. Highly recommend! We need to keep these vegan only gems in business so that we all can have options to order vegan food from.

Vegan options!!! Delicious and fresh breakfast items. Smoothies are packed with fruit. Worth the walk.
