I really enjoyed this campground. One night we were on the back row facing the river. The next 2 nights, we had ocean view. To be honest... I really enjoyed the back row. The facilities were impeccably clean ... I would love to return someday to carry on with some wildlife photography.
I can't tell you about most of the park but I recently stayed here for a night in one the new cabins along the water. Hot tubs are maintained well, the cabins were great and I have no complaints. Even the broken boat dock was kinda fun!
We only stayed here due to its convenient location from a current contract. The first stay we were crammed in to a space like a music fest parking lot. Upon check in the front desk attendant and staff in training were rude and forced us to wear masks to enter the office. We should have left then but again it was only due to convenience we booked first stay. Upon arrival and check in of our second stay we have chosen to leave due to the absolute horrible customer service and attitude of the front desk person and staff. If you are reading this do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here, poor attitudes do not need to be tolerated for any convenience.
Very nice cabins and accommodation situated in lovely setting. Loved the ambience. Would return. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay. Beautiful views of the ocean. Has everything you need for your glamping needs .
Great campground. Nice frontview to sea. Clean, quiet. Washroom fine, shower 2 $ for 5 min also clean. Will Come again.
The Orca suite is one of 4 cabins located at this resort. This was one of THE BEST cottages we have EVER stayed at. Everything is top notch and so very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and watching the birds in the estuary directly behind the cottage, what a view! So close to everything in Campbell River, yet the feeling you are all alone in the wilderness once you enter your suite. We plan to return often. Thank you to all the staff and very well done!
A very accommodating bunch! We had no reservations but they were able to slide us into two different spots for two nights! Very clean, well maintained & had everything we needed. Close to the mall and really close to a shack that had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!
We were fortunate to get a cottage booking Orca house last minute after a cancellation, and we couldn't be happier that we found this place. A home away from home, it's squeaky clean and has all the comforts you'd expect. The hot tub was a really lovely feature although the water was just a tad murky - but it wasn't enough to take a star away... we had a lovely long soak and a shower afterwards. I think that for the price, this is everything one could ask for and then some. The staff were so friendly and obviously take pride in their work. The sunsets were gorgeous, and the location is peaceful. The entire facility is wheelchair friendly with steps and a rail in the hot tub, and a large seat in the double walk-in shower. The televisions are not the best for watching sports, but it was nice to have one in the bedroom and in the living room : We barely noticed there was an RV park around us, as the focus was all on the view out the big sliding doors from the living room.
I've never stayed there, but friends who have say that it is good.
