If you’re into privacy, nature and well kept sites this is your place to go. Great, quite big campground. Sites are nice apart and have enough space. All are equipped with a fireplace and picnic table. From the campground you can make several hikes and wildlife is just around the corner. Amazing!
We stayed in the Elk BC Provincial Park and saw some pink salmon moving upstream. So we picked our flyrods and make some casts. A few pink were caught and I was surprised to catch e few fresh coho salmon as well
Well maintained sites, lots of first come first serve spots and good privacy.
Our first time camping.. it was a awsome experience.. there was always some one coming around to make sure the bathroom was clean.. and always had wood in hand for campfires. I wood definitely go back again.. staff was awsome..
Such a peaceful place, hard to believe this place is just a few minutes from town. My go to camping spot. Bonus the outhouses are clean and don't smell!!
First visit! We will certainly be returning! Loved the quiet, loved the sounds of the river putting us to sleep,
If you want to feel like you're camping in a literal zoo then this is for you! Car alarms going off, helicopters constantly flying around, kids screaming nonstop, dogs going insane, absolutely not a peaceful camping experience in the slightest. I've never dealt with so much noise in my life at a campground! There was also a tree that had fallen down near a campsite and they acted completely nonchalant about it? Outhouses were atrocious as well!
Great campsite especially if you can score a campsite along the river.
We saw a bald eagle during our visit. It was great. They actually clean your picnic table and fire pit with the fee they collect. I would recommend this place.
Quiet , organized, clean toilets with No shower no electricity as described. Restrooms: Had toilets paper+ hand sanitizer; no fly clean not stinky but it was in the fall season.
