Story

Funded by Employment Ontario, The Thornhill Employment Hub is here to assist job seekers and employers. All of our services are available at no cost to you!

For job seekers, we offer a fully equipped resource centre where you can conduct your job search, gain access to local job postings, network with others and gain the skills and knowledge necessary to get back into the workforce. As well as, there is the opportunity to attend job search workshops, one-on-one coaching with an Employment Consultant, and information sessions. Check out our job seeker page to learn more.

For employers, we offer assistance on your search for candidates, whether it is through a job fairs, posting your positions on our website (Hot Jobs), or working one-on-one with a Job Developer to look through the collection of candidates ready and willing to work. My employment counselor, Natalie has given me endless guidance and has encouraged me to find my current job and she connected me to my current employer for the first Canadian experience. she is very professional to make a good resume. she is always available. I enjoyed attending useful workshops. Edit, sent me great job leads and provided me helpful information for my preparation for interviews and find my current job. They are in touch with me to find the perfect fit job for me.
The professionals that work at thornhill employment agency are awesome. Natalie Meecham really cared about the input approach on our one-on-one sessions. She improved and reconstructed my resume and also got me approved funding for medical and other work related documents, I needed to commence my orientation for the job I got hired for!!! Natalie was so optimistic about working with me and my chances overall. All thanks to her input and help. :
I was putting in lots of applications and not getting many responses. When I started working with the Thornhill employment hub they held a resume class. I took it, and it really helped me to improve my resume. That’s when my job prospects took off and I had an offer in a month. Thank you Natalie for your dedication.
I had to chase them for months to help me. Jaime seems nice every time we talk, but never reply my emails without me calling David the manager after waiting for weeks. Over 12 months now, apart from getting my resume rewritten, no results from the other help I’ve needed. I missed my second career opportunity, had to take a hard labour job that’s completely unrelated to my field to pay the bills without their help. Jaime was always on vacation or taking care of personal business and other work, I asked them to sign me with someone else if she doesn’t have time, they never did. When I contacted another employment service, they call me every other day with results. I wish I had chosen them in the time of need instead of wasting 12 months here.
Highly recommended Centre!!! I am so thankful that my university friend had referred me to this Thornhill Employment Hub CentreTEHC. It is a treasure to me. Lisa and Ruby are not only extremely nice, but also efficient and resourceful. They always provide me with great guidance. Lisa signed me up for seminars, polished my skills and introduced me to websites where I can get additional assistance. She handled my inquiries with professionalism. As a result, I am very lucky to have received an offer super quickly. The staff at the Centre made this magic happen to me and I am thrilled. The workers at TEHC are very experienced and knowledgeable on how to connect employers with potentially qualified candidates. This makes the whole process much easier. Thornhill Employment Hub Centre is a wonderful place to get help from if you are looking for jobs and need assistance! I enjoyed working with them and I have a superb experience. I sincerely thank everyone from the Centre for all their support and suggestions. In short, It has been a great learning experience. I value a lot of their recommendations. The Thornhill Employment Hub is an excellent resource for improving your job search skills. From the receptionist Jewels to my employment consultant Natalie, everyone there was so friendly, helpful and professional. I learned a lot by attending their cover letter writing, resume writing and interview skills workshops. They also offered to review my cover letters and resumes on a one-on-one basis for various positions for which I was applying. After the review, I had to completely rework my resume but the advice worked! I secured an interview. Natalie helped prepare me for the interview and she was able to predict the very first question the employer asked so I knew just what to say. They were there to provide support and guidance throughout the hiring process right up until the point I was eventually hired! Thanks for being there Thornhill Employment Hub!
