Thompson Laughlin

It took a call and complaint to the Law Society of Alberta to get our house sale money transferred to us, over 3 months of waiting. Christina Laughlin would not return our calls or emails for the majority of this time period. She is not responsive, she doesn't follow through on her word, and she made some mistakes that affected the buyers ability to perform actions on the home they bought from us.

We have been trying to reach our lawyer Christina Laughlin for 2 weeks now and have yet to hear from her with respect to an ongoing house purchase issue. I would highly recommend going else where for legal representation where there is better communication within the office as mistakes were made and in general to her clients. It would have been respectful for her to reach out to us to just let us know if she is working on the outstanding items, however we only get a response from her assistant that she will pass the message along and that is all she can do. It's extremely frustrating because we are understanding patient people and to be dismissed like this is nonsense.

I had a law matter with this firm back in 2013. The entire experience was VERY awful. Avoid at all cost.
