We stopped by here for the Hot Chocolate Festival but they were out of their special hot chocolates.nnMy wife had the Moroccan Chicken Sandwich with lots of veggies and an Aztec Hot Chocolate. I’ve had the drink before and it has nice heat with the sweetness and chocolate. The sandwich was crispy with fresh ingredients. The spiced chicken was really good with sweet apples, toasted almonds, watercress and soft havarti cheese!nnI had the Roasted Duck Panini which was amazing! Crispy bread, juicy duck, a sweet jam or chutney and some nice veggies made for the perfect bite! The Hot Chocolate had some whipped cream and was very chocolatey! They even included a complimentary chocolate as part of the festival. It was yummy!nnWe ate outside as it was a nice, sunny day! Come here for a good hot drink, dessert, pastry or sandwich!
An impressive bakery and chocolate shop with a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and handcrafted chocolates. Each item has its own special touch of flavor and presentation, making the selection feel carefully curated.nEven simply looking at the displays is enjoyable!nA wonderful place to treat yourself or pick up desserts for a special occasion.
Just discovered this lovely cafe yesterday. Beautiful pastries and lots of outdoor seating. It was very busy around 3pm on a Saturday so the line to order was a bit long but the service was still great. Lots of street parking that is free for 4 hours. Peaceful part of north Van, behind the auto-mall. Even though it’s an out-of-the-way location, still packed.
Thomas Haas is a jewel in North Vancouver. We locals know that and go for morning and afternoon coffee. If you are visiting the city you can't leave without trying their chocolate in any form. Visually it's a paradise of treats designs colours and tastes. You can get Easter eggs chocolates if you are around in the season. Practically any truffle or chocolate bar there is fantastic! I also absolutely Iove the double baked almond croissant, you won't find anything like that one, it is baked in haven LOL. The place is very small don't think you fill find huge lounge to sit, but anything is worth to get that chocolate. I am not kidding.
nThomas Haas is pastry perfection in Vancouver! nnA must-visit for anyone who loves world-class pastries and sweets!nnThe croissants are so buttery and flaky, and the cakes taste like a little cloud of happiness. nnThe chocolates are rich and artistic — you can tell everything is made with real passion and skill.nnEvery visit here feels special, and it’s truly one of my favorite spots in Vancouver for pastries and sweets.
