Saboos Bread Factory makes the best Barbari I’ve had in Canada, and I’ve tried many in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.nIf you go in the afternoon, the dough is perfectly risen and developed, and the bread comes out beautifully baked.nTruly top-quality Barbari!
Still 5 !nBeen going here a few years now. It used to be full of all types of desserts, pickled things, different containers of so many types of foods - the variety was overwhelming! In a good way!nnBut now they only thing baked fresh is the bread. - flat bread & barbari bread. And it's still great.nnBit the same trays of baklava has been sitting there for 2 weeks. No exciting pastries!nnThere are a few bags of salt and olives on the wall but nothing else.nnThe fridge section has way less variety but the hummus, cream etc still great quality and tasty but like everything else in the world, expensive. I would rather pay these prices to a small business than superstore, so I still go - but I miss the variety.
I absolutely love their brea. it’s fresh and delicious. However, I was a bit surprised that the owner chose to round up the price of the bread and the final total of the bill. It’s not about paying a few extra cents, but rather about transparency and honesty in business. I hope this was an oversight, as everything else about the experience was positive.
I've been a regular customer of Saboos Bread Factory for the past two years and I have to say, I'm a huge fan of their Flat Bread. It's a delicious traditional BARBARY that comes in a flat circle shape, and I love the fact that they've never compromised on their quality. Every time I've purchased bread or dough from them, it's been consistently great.nnThe only issue I've encountered is that they tend to sell out quickly, but I'd much rather they maintain their high standards than compromise on quality just to keep up with demand. The staff members are always friendly and helpful, which makes the overall experience even better.nnOverall, I highly recommend Saboos Bread Factory to anyone who appreciates high-quality bread and dough products. I am a long time customer.nThey have one of the best Persian bread in BC. They always have fresh crunchy delicious mouthwatering bread available.nHighly recommended, it never lets you down.nI wish they had more branches.nnLocation of convenient and store is clean. Staff are friendlynnIdeas to improve:n- They are popular and I can imagine they are running out of specific types of bread. It happened to me couple of times that they do not have whole wheat plain.n- They recently increased the price to $3.50. It used to be some discount when you buy more.
