Thirsty Moose Tap House- Dover

My gf and I went here 3 years ago while on vacation and I never took any photos of my experience. But I always remembered it as one of my favorite restaurants I had ever been to outside of Massachusetts. Recently we went on another trip to Maine and we purposely took a minor detour to stop in halfway through our trip. The drinks are perfect. The beer selection is outstanding. The food made us dream of coming back. What else could a customer want? I’ll be back soon!

A Little Rowdy, Tasty Burgers, Slightly Unattentive ServicennI've visited Thirsty Moose Dover a few times each year I've worked in town, and they're at least consistent in their okay-ness.nnThere are Gluten-free hamburger buns, which is great, though : And always go with the Sweet Potato Fries.

Delicious food and great selection for drinks on tap! I tried the pretzel for an app, and the caprese chicken pizza. The pizza was so good I bought it again the next day! Huge selection of ciders and beers on tap. Both waitresses we had were absolutely wonderful. Parking on street nearby is free on Sundays and holidays!

Went in for quick bit and beer on Memorial day. Was fairly busy but were seated right away. Ordered a beer and chili Nachos. Nachos were frankly disgusting. Very small portion, no chili, and soggy chips. Should have never left the kitchen. Bad experience overall which was unfortunate because I've never been that disappointed with previous visits

This was our 2nd visit. The 1st was great. Food and portions were good. However, This time was more.....meh. Burgers were well done, even though medium was requested. 3rd person had the prime rib grilled cheese. While the meat present was pink, there was more fat than meat.nOutside temp was 50 degrees and the AC was pumping inside. We were seated under an air vent so the cold air was continuous. We were told it couldn't be turned down or off, and an hour wait so we couldn't be moved.nService - waitress did what she could to accommodate. Very kind team overall.nThis is the beginning of busy season, so hopefully this experience was a fluke.
