We are a comfort food restaurant with a BBQ spin. Fresh food and large portions at a reasonable price. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Story

For the past 2 years we have run our restaurant in Essex with the most amazing group of family and friends. With their support we have taken the plunge into opening a second full service restaurant in Dover New Hampshire. This restaurant features waterfront property on the Cochecho river with stunning views of the only deep water port in Dover. Sit out on our 80 person deck or inside in our dining room or at one of the two bars outfitted with 5 plasma T.V.'s. There is a little something for everybody here at The Farm Bar & Grille in Dover, including waterfront land to add some of our favorite outdoor activities. See you soon!

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight, but I don’t think we’ll ever go again. We were both disappointed in our food and our service. My plate looked very pretty, however, I did not really like the chili sauce, and there was dirt on some pieces of my lettuce. The sauce did not taste like it was homemade, I’m talking about the sauce on the chicken and it tasted like one from a jar, but I could be mistaken. The peanut sauce was definitely not my favorite, I’ve had a really good one before and that one did not compare to it. I don’t think I’m a clam chowder lover, however, from what I could tell, it was cooked well. My husband got a hamburger and it was a nice size and he said he would give it a three. He said it had too much char on it and it made it taste burnt through the whole hamburger. We did like the french fries that came with my husband’s burger.nnOur waiter seemed slow to get to back to us after bringing our drinks and never offered my husband a refill on his tea, even with it sitting on the side of the table. We finally just asked for our ticket and left, but overall we were very disappointed in our dining experience.
Everything i've gotten here each time i've come has been very delicious. I recommend their Mac and cheese, fajitas, and everything in between. Love both the indoor and outdoor seating. They recently added cajun chicken alfredo and i'm a big fan.
Great service and delicious food! Can't wait to return and try something else!
This place is an amazing restaurant. Our server Alex was outstanding. He had such a positive attitude & really made our date more enjoyable with a couple of laughs. The drinks & food arrived in a timely manner. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend coming here for your next dinner out. Thank you to The Farm staff for a wonderful experience.
Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere. We ordered the bbq pulled pork nachos, they were amazing. The service was fantastic and I can’t wait to come back here again
