Basic facilities, but easy enough to find and get your pitch. Very, very quiet at night, and we live in rural England!
Only stayed one night of two planned due to a forest fire at Crater Lake which meant our planned activities in and around that lake were not possible.
Mosquitoes are a problem but we had 25% deet for the kids and 50% for us and that did the trick.

Mosquito hell!!!!
The mosquitos are out of control with the bat population being down some 6+ million but, this was insane! We got a spot for tent camping on the no reservation A loop (farthest from the water) and no sooner stepped out of the truck and had 7 on my leg!!
Aside from that, the campground has nice sites with some privacy in between but, the camp host was MIA fir half of the day when we arrived.

The campground itself it beautifully situated in the pines right by diamond lake. The site are spacious and the grounds have good amenities.
However, during our visit, we had several very noisy neighbours in large RV's, playing loud music and running generators well after (and before!) quit hours. The camp host had nothing to say about this.
It may just have been bad luck, but people looking to enjoy nature in peace should be warned.

Nice campground. Just be ready that it is pretty high up and it can get COLD at night.

Perfect campground with everything you need directly at the small lake in front of the mountain.
