They feed you! Theodore's is beyond 5 stars! Food is superb! There wasn't one bad dish! The meat is smoked to perfection and falls off the bone. They don't drown the meat in sauce. The mac and cheese has just the right amount of cheese! The gumbo is out of this world...Highly impressed! Trust me, this will be your go to for real barbeque!!!Ryan is first class! Fun place with good music and great decor. Paintings on the wall are nice tribute to great blues, musicians, and others. It was fun trying to call them out by name. Food was really good with lots of varieties of entrées and sides. Multiple different sauces to try. Including a really good spicy hot sauce. Service was really good and the prices were reasonable. Finally, there was a great selection on tap.
We came here for some a late lunch with family before a road trip. The pulled pork sandwich, the nachos, and the BBQ sauce were delicious. The burnt ends and quality of the meat was fine but not the best cook I’ve ever had on BBQ. Still, a delicious option while in the city and you can never go wrong with a pulled pork sandwich and some waffle fries!
Google should let me give 6 or 7 stars. This place is awesome. Our waitresses name was Lori. She is very good at her job. She explained things too us, answered all my questions, made eye contact, was fun and just all around awesome. Even the 2 owners stopped by our table and greeted us and made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. I had a half rack of baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage, baked beans, collard greens, and I tried all their house mad sauces. Everything was mind blowing. My wife got a crispy chicken salad with house made dressing. All their dressings are house made. The rib meat fell off the bone and the pulled pork was perfect. We'll be going back, hopefully soon. Good Service and Good Food! They were very nice from the start. I had a pull pork platter and I comes with two sides. The pork was tender and chose Mac n cheese with cornbread, it was all delicious. The prices are reasonable. Would recommend!
Great BBQ in the heart of downtown Springfield. Great selection of appetizers and platters to cover every taste. Whether grabbing a snack or a meal there is a decent selection of drafts and bottles to pair with your meal. Variety of house sauces to add to the flavor of your meats. Sweet potato tots are a great substitute for regular fries. Good desserts to finish your meal.
We were driving around the area, searching for places to eat and we stumbled pass this place. So glad we stopped. The staff are wicked friendly and the food is amazing. The Burnt Ends are out of this world, the Buffalo Tenders are great and our meals in the pictures were perfect. Since stumbling on this place, we have been back multiple times and have always had great meals. Definitely recommend Theodore's!!!
Quick friendly service. Good price on drinks. Real smoky wings. Spacious sports bar with live music on some nights.
I love Theodore's. I always enjoy the atmosphere and service. Everyone is friendly. On separate occasions I've had their smoked wings loved them brisket so good and the blackened chicken pasta delish. Go try it, you won't be disappointed.
