Very small zoo. I was pretty happy with the zoo until I got to the wolf enclosure. I'm pretty sure the timber wolves were a hybrid with a domestic dog based on the stature and head structure. The "arctic wolves" were very clearly huskies. A quick google search for size and appearance confirmed our suspicions. I can not give a good rating to an institution built to educate that is clearly lying to its guests.

Beautiful park in theory. Zoo was hard to find as the main entrance and the entrance that GPS takes you to are closed. Street signs did not clearly guide one to the main entrance. If you stop at the entrance gate at the main entrance the guide will give you a small piece of paper with directions to the entrance they want you to use. Entrance into the park is $3.00 and then you are charged again to get into a small zoo. Animals are caged and some do not appear healthy. It was sad to see a bobcat pacing back and forth in it's cage. I saw a chicken acting ill on the outside of the enclosures. There were no attendants nearby to notify of the problem.

Small zoo. Was slightly concerned for the safety of the animals in a few of the enclosures and I don't think either of the species of wolves on exhibit are actually what they say they are. Just off-putting if you are concerned with conservation and education. Just going for a good time, then it's fine.

I thought this would be a good place to bring my 7 year old daughter because it's close to home... We were feeding goats and out of nowhere one of them started screaming in pain because one of her ears was stuck on the wood fence. People were going crazy trying to find a staff member to help the goat. She ended up tearing a large piece of her ear. The poor goat was bleeding alot and no one came to assist. I asked my daughter to go look at other animals, she was traumatized by what she had just witnessed. About 15 minutes later, I saw two female employees on the golf cart chatting. I interrupted for a minute and told him the situation they just looked at each other and one said that happens all the time and they continued their conversation... I stood in shock and speechless. Then she looked at me and said sarcastically thank you and continued her conversation. I walked by the goat one more time on our way out and no one had went to check on her and her ear was still bleeding. So traumatizing to my seven-year-old shame on you for having horrible staff and not caring about your animals.

Took our Girl Scouts Troops here today. As it was the weekend I wish there would of been a couple of animals out for discussion yet nothing was planned. Other than that the kids had a great time. Might wanna think about moving the bitting pig away from the you can feed goats.
