Lupa Zoo is fine for what it is, albeit a bit on the small side. I'm also not sure if I hit the zoo at the right time of year, but I found there were a lot of empty enclosures during my visit. Most of the animals consisted of farm animals, or animals you would traditionally find at a pet store. Most of the animals that were there appeared to be well taken care of. There were some exotic critters that made the trip a little worthwhile. If you're looking for something fun to do with family or friends and you're in the area, it might be worth your while to check it out!
Perfect size for kids to roam around this beautiful zoo with nice gardens and playgrounds for children with lots of fun things to do and see. We loved all the birds and animals, and all the spooky Halloween decorations.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Absolutely the best zoo had the best time. Very alert and active zoo animals, some I have never seen before. Cute little splash pad for hot days. We drove an hour and a half to come here and it was so worth it will be back again. So worth it. The front gate lady was the sweetest ever couldnt help but smile the whole experience.
I was traveling from out of town and stumbled across the Lupa Zoo by curiously following wooden “Zoo this way” arrow signs posted on the neighboring backroads. I was absolutely, and am still, blown away at the animal oasis I was lead to! Through the park gates, you follow a short road to the main parking lot, where you are greeted by reindeer and goats. Within the park, there are many sights to see, animals you can feed, play areas with interactive sensory games, designated quiet areas, rest areas, educational gardens, and small sculptures of cherubs and winnie the poo throughout. Both the park and enclosures were well maintained. However, I do wish there was more presence of staff members to educate and answer questions, as well as provide some of the animals with a bit more interaction/tlc that they may need.
My kids had a wonderful time here! It might be a little boring for adults but it is great if you're going with your family. The bathroom was clean and easy to use. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations as well as a good handful of play areas scattered throughout.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15

A local gem that is definitely a must see of you have little ones. Quite a few animals there that I have never seen at other area zoos. The woman who greeted us for our sons birthday yesterday was delightful and very informative. Even with all the curveball covid has thrown small businesses, they have done a great job! Would highly recommend taking a trip here to see the lovely animals. My son absolutely loved watching the otters "perform" for him. We will most definitely be back many times.
Lots of animals to see, the price is affordable, and they give you enough food to feed the animals throughout the zoo. It's a nice place and my son enjoyed it. Definitely hit up the shop to buy an animal, their stuffed animals are super cute!!
Absolutely fantastic!!! Calm atmosphere, alot of the animals here like people and like the food purchased at ticket counter. There is definitely a more hands on experience here and the animals are somewhat different than your standard zoo. Great way to spend an afternoon with kids. There are soda machines available but there were no concessions at this time so definitely bring your own lunch
I went to the Lupa Zoo today. I have been here before, probably 2-3 years ago. They had a black panther and giraffes last time I came here. I was most excited to see that panther, but it wasn't here. Nor were the giraffes. But other than that, I had a great experience. I had my 1 year old with me. Road was a little bumpy with the stroller. They had a lot of different animals and you can feed a lot of them too. My favorite was the otters, I could watch them all day. It's a good size Zoo. I will definitely be coming back!
