The Yellow Chilli

We had our work Christmas dinner here. We were greeted by the kind staff. Our waitress was amazing and had great recommendations for food and drinks. The chef came out and spoke to us. All in all great experience. Ambience of the restaurant was great. The food tasted delicious. This restaurant is upscale and modern it is a MUST TRY!!

Food quality and taste was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant was very relaxed and cozy. They had a live piano player as well. Their special drinks were also fantastic. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the appetizers being a tad on the smaller side.

Went here for mama's birthday and had a great experience. Really wonderful service and flavourful food! The staff were attentive throughout the entire meal and we were want for nothing. All the dishes were good portions, attractive and spiced perfectly.

A solid 4. Nice upscale decor, very prompt and pleasant service and interesting menu. Where it falls short is the taste department. We tried a variety of appetizers, chicken and veggie mains and breads between our party of 6. Well presented food that falls short of any unique or authentic taste elements. The sauces were smothered in cream and the spices felt subdued. The breads were OK but didn’t hit the spot. Overall, a solid choice for Punjabi/Delhi fare, but won’t keep going back like Tasty or Showshaa.

We were here on Thursday night with our neighbour : she invited us here and told us before how much their food is good so my expectation was little high and Boom their food is really good! I never disappointed with Indian food I know but this place is good unique and the manager whom used to be Bartender OH my God he is friendly and super professional !! He had little chat with me and he knows exactly what I want ! I don’t know much drinks name so just told him What I normally like to drink sweet drink that’s it. And he made very special drink for me! And it was amazing overall it was such a pleasure experience with amazing staffs and friends will definitely come again

I think y’all forgot the chilli at yellow chilli lol. Pretty meh experience. Nice ambience and service but poor quality and quantify of food. $28 for a veg platter of appetizers for what’s in the picture attached… definitely just go one or two appetizers and not this overpriced and underwhelming starter. Ordered the Shaam Savera spinach and paneer dumplings in a tomato gravy and paneer makhni. Never have I ever ordered two different sounding dishes and received the same item. Tasted identical besides the paneer/dumplings—they’d used the same gravy for both. Overly sweet despite the fact that I asked specifically for it to be spicy. Naan and rice were okay, not bad. Overall, very average, underwhelming flavours, disappointing quantity, decent service and ambience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Food was just amazing, all spices hit the right spot. Haven’t tasted authentic chicken curry in ages. Afghan chicken was cooked so perfectly and those dips were so so good. Puran Singh da chicken curry was so delicious, with perfect amount of spices. Dum goat biryani was also good but exactly like a Hyderabadi biryani. Black opal drink was also yummm! Just make sure you’ve a reservation, had to wait about 45mins to get a table. The restaurant hardly picks up calls to reserve a table so be prepared.

Ok so where do i start!? We went there on sunday night and it was quite busy for sunday. The hospitality we received by the servers was OUT OF THE WORLD. Despite being busy they were Soooo friendly and polite. Our hostess i think GAGAN was the politest person i have ever met. All recommendations made by her for food were Excellent. We got Lalla Mussa dal, shaam savera and puran singh chicken and the dishes were A-One quality. The food here is NO JOKE. I was sold by the presentation and the food just tasted FANTASTIC! I really wanted to try the desserts by I couldn’t have possibly ate anything with the GIGANTIC size of the dishes. Our hostess handled our table very well. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TEAM! I feel like 5 stars aren’t enough so here are 5 more

I came in not knowing what to expect… I wasn’t disappointed! The staff were very kind, the atmosphere was upscale yet homely. The food was so flavourful. Hands down, this is the best Indian restaurant we have in the lower mainland!

Food is always wonderful. The staff is exceptionally nice. Neha provided great service and was very helpful. We’ve been here five times and it has been enjoyable each time!
