Happy Singh Street Eats

Everything we ordered was so delicious. I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes, but it all was very flavorful and fresh. We got a mango, almond, banana shake for dessert and we were shook! So amazing. The kiosk where you order on a screen and just wait for your food was kind of hard for us to figure out, but we managed to figure it out without any help. Totally recommend this place if you’re ever in Surrey, or make a pit stop if you’re driving to or from Seattle to Vancouver! Food was okay. . They have 3 kiosks where you can place your order. For the number of people who visit the place, the number of kiosks is not enough. If you wish to make an additional order we have to wait in the line up again. So it is better to think and decide your items and order everything in the first place. Once the order is placed, the time taken to prepare the order is reasonable. The customer service was good. The place is loud and good for casual group dining. Overall experience was good. And glad to know that they're adding more kiosks.

The food here is really good and delicious, waiting times for orders is reasonable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice for casual eating out. They have almost a cafeteria or canteen type of service. Only problem is the 3 kiosks at the front, they should add 2 more for quicker service.

Nice place with great decor and amazing variety of foods! The drinks / shakes are out of the world Foods are great as well.. a bit on the pricey side but the overall experience will make you feel it's worth!

I walked in knowing little except that orders were done through kiosks, and was admittedly was not impressed with people still checking the menu on them. Perhaps there should be more staff directing people to check the QR codes if you can’t read the menus on the TVs? Apart from that, the food is delicious, prices are acceptable, and the interior design of the place is amazing!

We had an amazing time at Happy Singh. The food was on point and the atmosphere was really good too. The Manager and Host were really accommodating and checking to see if everything was to our liking! Recommended to anyone who wants to experience Indian street food!

I haven't experienced food taste but delivered food from here. The ambiance was calm and quiet; even though there were many customers. The stuff was nice, and the area was clean. Also, desserts seemed delicious. I want to try if it suits my diet.

This my first time trying Indian food and I love the variety they offer. It is a self serve restaurant like a food court. They make the order right after we give them the ticket. They are all very friendly to us as we don’t understand the operating system at first. I would recommend my friends here to try out Indian food.

Tried this place twice on consecutive days. The first time was great! Although the food texture seemed homogeneous, the food was hot and had great flavours. The second time was horrible. It was a bit of a large order and they seemed to be overwhelmed. The food was cold when called. They also missed some of my items and it took about 30-35 mins to rectify the issue after countless discussions with the staff. The restaurant itself was super cold and that caused the food to get cold quickly as well. The ordering system needs to change as there's frequently long lineups to place dine-in orders and it takes a long time to place your order since the menu is huge. Also, it doesn't make sense to wait 15 minutes to place your order into the electronic systems, then get the a paper copy to resubmit to the staff. Cleanliness was trailing as well - saw some fruit flies flying around the tables. The drinks however were great! On time and great flavours! It's good to try out twice. Won't be back unless they fix the gaps.

First things first, I had to wait in queue for good 15 minutes before I could even place my order because they don't have enough kiosks to take the order. They have a self serve structure which is great but don't have the technical infrastructure to support it. It would make more sense if they added more than 2 machines and also seniors are not comfortable using tech so it add to the wait time. Moving on to the food, half of our order was one of the best we tried in Vancouver but the other half was equally disappointing. There was a lot of hype created around Raj Kachori and Aloo Tikki but both of these turned out to be below average. Tikki was not crispy, which was a major disappointment. Would highly recommend the Kaju Badam Mango shake, in my opinion that's one of the best things in Metro Vancouver. I wanted to go back and order the Jalebi but couldn't muster up the courage to stand in line again for 20 minutes.
