The Waterfront Bar & Grill

I went to waterfront on my 21st birthday as they do a free meal and free rail drinks. When I arrived (with one other person) we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, so I went to the bar. The whiskey and coke was good and the bar tender was very friendly. Seeing as it was my 21st I was already a little drunk, but was respectful. The bar tender seemed to be enjoying my company. As we were waiting for our table more and more people were seated, some of whom had just entered the restaurant. My intoxicated self mentioned that to my friend and the host turned to me clearly upset. He was extraordinarily aggressive towards me asking if I had a problem (my friend believes he was looking to start a physical altercation). At that point I set my drink down and we left. Terrible experience thanks to a host, but I would go back to hang out with the bar tender again!

This is the quintessential bar and grill. Their deck overlooking Lake Menomin is especially perfect to sit and enjoy your favorite beverage on a sunny warm summer afternoon. Their menu is burgers, entree's, sandwiches, appetizers, salads, and soup. They serve a good Wisconsin style fish fry on Fridays. Other nights rotate, but I remember seeing ribs, wings and the like. One of my faves are their crab cakes. Everything is made in the small and crowded kitchen. They make their own sauces therefore they are exceptionally flavorful and leave you asking for more. The waitstaff are usually well trained and very pleasant. Because it is such small production area, you may experience a long wait for your food. However, they warn you of that right in the menu and it is worth the wait. Besides, with the view from the deck and Spotted Cow in hand, I could wait even longer than that :)

Almost guaranteed to get a cute waitress. They have great wraps and burgers and a couple vegan choices. It can be really busy on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and there can be wait times during their busy hours, but the food is always totally worth it

Went during the lunch hour on a Saturday. Great staff, and yummy food for a good price. Beer battered French fries are quite interesting as well!

Awesome local place, right on the water and not too expensive. Food and drinks! Deck with outside seating in the summer.
