Log Jam

The food was fantastic. Fish and chips and quesadilla for the kids, rubuen and turkey pesto for the wife and I. I had the pear cider and wife had the pink lady. Stephanie are server was also great, very friendly and personable.

The prices are so disappointing. $13 base for a very simplistic RICE bowl with no protein was almost acceptable if you don’t know the prices of the content, but the prices of protein add-ons were INSANE. So i ordered the yum-yum bowl without realizing it would be a bowl of yum-yum sauce? The entire wide entree-bowl was covered in the warm pink sauce mayo and sriracha. I mixed and tried to omit sauce by leaving pools of it untouched on the cucumbers and around edges of the small portion of rice , meaning I eat even less of the food I ordered, and it was still inedible.n$1.50 for adding onions and an additional $1.50 to add mushrooms to the already expensive French dip was also shocking?nIrrational Minneapolis prices and Minneapolis parking with some regular bar atmosphere was not worth it.nnThough the fries were decent and I liked the shareable size of the onion rings again not the price

Great place right outside UW Stout for a dinner and some beverages. Great value and fast service. We were having a hard time finding places that were open after 9pm on a holiday weekend and Log Jam was open. Delicious food, fast friendly service. And being it was happy hour, the $5 tall drafts were fantastic. I’d gladly eat here again. Thanks for being open!

When in Menomonie it’s a must visit at the Log Jam. Our food was great except for the waffle fries. Totally lacked flavor and texture. The beer fries were excellent! Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. My favorite is the Mau Mau Tacos! Love them! Shrimp tacos were good too.nOur waiter was good and just needed a few reminders. But, very friendly. The young bartender behind the bar lacked friendliness and speed. I wanted a t-shirt for a gift for a former employee when she was in school. I thought he actually forgot about me after my order. Totally understand food orders first. Just check back with guests.nOverall, will keep coming back!

Had high hopes for this place because of its rating. Showed up at 1pm and sat at the bar with 9 other coworkers. Service was great. Ordered 2 burgers with fries and had a few drinks and cheese curdes. Didn't want to make a scene as I was with a bunch of coworkers, but there was a long hair under my fries. I pulled it out because I thought maybe one of my hairs fell on it, but nope. It was actually someone else's hair as it resisted being pulled from the fries. How gross. The burger was okay and drinks were good. Won't be returning to this establishment for food.
