The Vig

Excellent bar area with three TVs and anything you can imagine to drink behind the bar. The food was great! It was cooked properly and was an overly adequate portion. I had the New York strip with steak fries and no complaints. The bar tender was attentive but not pushy, it’s a very laid back place with a cool vibe.

First time in providence due to a concert and this place is amazing great food and service. Great time with my family and I recommend

Don't waste your time. We had 8 guys meet here before the PC Friar game and I wish I never came. Out of our 8 food orders the waiter forgot 3 of them. The food took forever so we had to share all our plates. We had 1 drink each because we couldn't get any service to order a second round. Its a shame because its nice inside and right next to the arena. I will not be back.

Came here for a graduation event and absolutely loved the food! The menu is pretty large so there was something for everyone. I had the fried chicken burger which was super tasty as well as some wings and calamari for the appetizers. The place wasn’t packed when we came but during game nights, you can expect a lot of folks to be here. Definitely stop by for a drink at least.

Never heard of this place until the other week and it sounded great so my girlfriend and I gave it a shot. Loved it! I had the Vig Double cheeseburger and it was killer. So delicious. The French fries were great too. She had the kale black bean burger and she enjoyed it. Would definitely go back!

Such a beautiful, classy establishment. And the food was amazing. But the best part of our night was getting to meet the bartender, her name is Kayla. When I tell you she puts the class in classy, that's an understatement. This young lady was so attentive and professional, I just had to write this review praising her, and the Vig for hiring her. Great customer service the food is not that great but is bar food so understandable drink prices are a bit high I had a draft beer and a margarita with a Patron shot and paid $36 for those 2 drinks alone it's convenient that is in the hotel building

I am a photographer that was in the area for work and stopped in to The Vig to check it out! The atmosphere of the place is SO cool! I was there late afternoon / early evening and it was the perfect environment to get work done with a drink and some snacks.

The food was fine, drinks were overpriced but the service was terrible. There was no one at the host station, most of the servers were on their phones. It took so long for someone to come to our table that we almost left, and the food took nearly half an hour despite us being the only people dining in, and the steak wasn't cooked right.The place was almost empty even on a Friday night, and half the TV's were off. I'd definitely recommend ordering ahead for take out, or go anywhere else to dine in.

One of the absolute worst staffs I have ever seen in a restaurant. Unresponsive, inept and completely disorganized. WOW! Above and beyond bad. Would love to say the food was good but I left after a 35 minute wait for the soup with no updates or interaction whatsoever. Completely clueless.
