The Van Dyck Restaurant & Lounge

Interesting place. Don't let the outside fool you. It feels like an expensive, upscale restraunt, pub, brewery but the prices are great. Really enjoyed the "Adult Grill Cheese" and the craft beers. Very good beers and a decent menu. Food was very good. Lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by large trees.

I ordered through grub hub and the driver never showed. So after they had already made my food and waited for more than 20 minutes, the restaurant itself ended up driving my food to me, even though I was willing to get it myself. Amazing customer service! Gave the driver a $10 tip on a $22 order.

Great local find. It is quite like a pub in the UK. Very attentive server and good happy hour.

Just ordered takeout a decent amount..4 pizzas-dry..one pizza was missing 2 ingredients..no flavor..perogis were awful tasted micowaved and dry with 1 chip of bacon per perogi. Garlic parm wings were dry and tasteless..nachos werr the only decent thing we ordered but not for 4 people at all..will not order from here again

Best restaurant in Schenectady! Granted, I haven't tried any of the places that are $30-$40 per plate, but I stand by my statement. Beautiful space, good food, reasonable prices, excellent beer, friendly bartenders. The history this place has adds to the atmosphere, and the live jazz on Tuesdays is extra nice. Don't miss this place!

Food was delicious and beer was great too! Ordered garlic Parmesan wings, a pepperoni/sausage pizza, a chicken bacon sandwich, and a brown ale growler. Staff was very friendly as well! Will be back for sure!

Very good beer and apps. The entrees are not ideal, but they are solid and fairly priced. They often have live music upstairs. Those shows are usually really fun and worth looking in to attending.
