This franchised UPS store is a rats nest of chaos.nIt's filthy. Every surface is covered in filth and grime. Clearly hasn't been cleaned or vacuumed in months. Every single item within the store is in disarray, both in the customer area and the employee area. Everything is either knocked over, broken, or missing. The supplies available for purchase are rarely restocked. You will wait a long time to be seen even if there is only one customer. Don't try calling them, the voicemail at this location is always full and ignored. If you are dropping off a package, make sure you get a receipt and see them scan it into the system. When picking up a package, be prepared to wait a really long time while they sort through the unorganized pile in a desperate attempt to locate yours. The problems at this location are not new, so clearly the owners lack respect for themselves, and their customers as well.
I wish zero was an option. Dropped a very time critical letter off today, requested earliest possible delivery for tomorrow. Clerk assured me it would be delivered by noon tomorrow... checking tracking this evening shows me that it is set up for end of day delivery, not morning - and because UPS already has it on a truck, they are not able to change delivery speed. If it's not there by 2pm, that's an issue. I would have cheerfully paid more for faster delivery - and the website shows a couple of options. Please don't get so busy rushing from one customer to the next that you fail to be certain to understand what it is they need. For the next person that is, not me, there's no way I'll be back to this store and can't recommend it.
I dropped off a package on my day off, the gentleman who was there had no other customers and didnt bother to check that the old label is on it, I wasn’t aware that I should remove it or they dont have a date. Today the package which should be on its way to Vancouver got dropped off at my place again in Halifax!!!!!! So I have to drive all the way to the UPS LOCATION again!!
Never leave packages at the door when asked, never answer the phone and just hang up on you. Very unorganized.
Because the packages sent from China have to pay customs duties, I went there twice, the first time there were two Chinese people in the counter, and the second time it was a Chinese. I’m not quite clear about their attitude towards other ethnic groups, but to me, who is also a Chinese, I refused to say a word. They just answered that they are not the same company as UPS and cannot and have no obligation to serve me. Their attitude is very poor. There was no solution after going there twice, I don't want to see them again. In addition, UPS management is really messy.
