Local dive with a nice view from the deck. We sat at a high top table inside the bar area. It was a bit loud, but not too loud. A bunch of locals on a rainy Thursday afternoon, friendly group, 70s music playing in the background. The Irish bartender was waiting the high tops. He did a great job. Funny, helpful, and efficient. The Lobster Roll was very fresh, stuffed, and delicious. Very good Bloody Mary also. Nice selection of local craft beers. Parking: Free Parking. Limited parking in front lot. There's a second lot across the street.
Limted menu of basic bar food with some fried seafood thrown in. Whatwe had was not good at all. Typical tourist trap- you are paying for the view of the Harbor. Only reason I am giving it 2 stars is our server was good and very nice.
I'd like to preface this by sharing that I've never written a negative review about a business online. However, tonight's experience was not handled well by the manager and so I feel that people - especially people with kids - should steer far away. We arrived at 6:00 and told it was a 45 minute wait for an outdoor table. No problem, except that our cell phones didn't have great service so we were concerned that our party of 4 plus an under 2 year old wouldn't receive the call and needed to keep checking in. No big deal though - we were sat about 30 minutes after the time we were quoted, around 7:15. As soon as the waiter came over to our table, we placed our order including chips & a fish bites appetizer for our toddler.. so probably around 7:25 now as the staff were very busy. We also noticed that a 3-top who came in much later than us and seated two tables away were finishing their meal at this time. 8:00 rolls around and the server finally checks back in with us, and I'm desperately asking for the chips or something for my child to eat. We finally get the chips, which are literally just tortilla chips and a ramekin of salsa - these couldn't have taken more than a minute to throw on a plate. 8:30 rolls around... no food, no other apps, no one checking in. Our friends decide to leave, as they are locals and get up at 4:00 for work. At 8:45 I go find the server and tell him we need to go, that our friends have left, and could their order be canceled and our food that we ordered over an hour ago please be boxed up. At 9:00 the waiter appears with all of our food... including the food of our friends who left. The waiter has the manager come speak with us, and tell us they were slammed tonight and therefore no discount and we needed to pay in full. We paid over $150 tonight for chips & salsa and bland take-out - including take-out for our friends who left. We were also charged for a chowder & dessert that wasn't even in our bag, which we didn't realize at the time. We were so frustrated and needed to get our child back that we didn't want to spend more time. My toddler had tortilla chips and a chocolate milk for dinner. Had communication been better or had the manager even checked in on us then I could see paying full price - but this was poor customer service and poor food. Steer far away.
Went early about 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon and got a great seat inside by the window looking out onto the beautiful bay! Great views, the best flat bread pizza we've ever had, some awesome crab dip and a very good grilled chicken taco salad. Everything was delicious! Would definitely go back for some more of that flat bread pizza for sure just wish they were a bit bigger!
Oh what a view! Friendly staff, delicious food and great service. We ordered calamari and spicy fish bites ... The batter was light and crispy.. For dinner we had the baked stuffed haddock, the linguini with white clam sauce, a Greek flatbread and the seafood platter perfection on the scallops Portion sizes were good. So why not 5 stars? No dinner rolls/bread and side options are good but limited to 4 choices. Beverages were served in plastic cups, and the napkins are paper. Kid-friendliness: Crayons and a coloring page...special cup and very accommodating .... We thought olives came on the Greek flatbread... Waitress made a special trip to get some olives for my granddaughter.
Upper deck great place to eat, amazing view. Very tasty dranks, mine was called the mermaid Parking: Park by the building or right across the street.
Beautiful views from the rooftop deck which had umbrellas to provide shade. The food was very good. We especially liked the haddock sandwich with coleslaw and tarter sauce on top. Unfortunately, our service was very slow that particular day as we waited about an hour for meals for our family of four. However, our server was very nice, the food was delicious, and views were amazing so it was worth the wait. Also, parking was plentiful at the adjacent marina. Recommend!
Traveling through and stopped for dinner, so glad we did. Our server, Nick, was friendly and attentive, even on a busy night. My husband ordered the whole lobster, my crab cakes were the best ever and our blueberry pie was delicious. Wish we lived in the area, so we could visit more often!
June 6, 2021. My lobster roll was excellent! Chunks of lobster on a golden browned roll. Im glad I decided to try another and see what the hype was about. The fries and slaw were perfect and my wife had the fish bites perfectly breaded. Light breading so you can taste the fish. Danielle was an excellent server. Great views on the deck!
Every time in I'm in Mt. Everest island I come here. it's not perfect but it is damn good with a great view more
