Sold a great swim lesson experience by Neil prior to centre opening. Although when showed round, work still needed to be finished off at the site - we trusted him. In reality it stayed unfinished. The premises isn't fit for purpose, neither is the continual changing of swim tutors. In one session the tutor asked who couldn't swim? For the class - non could, they should have known that. We used 4 lessons of our 9 and deemed it a flop. Staff can't control the kids when on dry session. Neil not interested in resolving the financial issue. I doubt Neil will keep the business afloat no punn intended like some of his other ventures. Very poor show...wouldn't recommend.
Very dirty and not safe for opening ,poor lighting. Members of the public walking through the changing area where children and parents are getting changed in the inadequate changing facilities. No showers , no hot water in the toilet to wash hands. The instruction is very good, but they are freelance instructors. Neil will not reply to emails about a refund. We payed for lessons before they opened as we were sold a totally different product. Please visit before you give them any money. This place will be gone soon like all Neil previous companies.
Horrific! Never received a refund for outstanding lessons. Business Closed and bailiff note on the door! Shame on you Neil! Lowest of the low... you should be made to refund every CHILD who deserves to be taught properly and safely elsewhere! #Trading Standards made aware..
Appalling. Unsafe, unhygienic, untrained, inconsistent, inexperienced, the list could go on. Building site made out of chip wood and a complete risk to everyone in there, outdoor shoes being walked all around poolside, ‘things’ floating in the water, instructors changing every week, no introductions to make children feel more at ease - even basic stuff lacking. A complete lack of rapport and trust building for small and nervous children and no sense of awareness that small children are in a lot of cases trying to over come their fear of water. The dry lesson a waste of time, completely unengaging and kids running riot with unqualified, unbothered teenagers left in charge, while the kids throw things about while Neil sits on his laptop in the foyer. I don’t think we ever saw the same instructor twice. Complete waste and loss of money. Embarrassing attempt at being a reputable Lichfield business who I put mine and my child’s trust in. Neil has had/has 18 businesses with the majority now insolvent so clearly is lacking in sufficient business acutely , but to risk the health and safety of children is abhorrent.
Absolutely terrible ‘service’ if you could call it that. Paid for lessons of £14 per lesson and a booking fee on top of £35 back in January this year was promised it would be open in a few weeks which turned to months , eventually my daughter started her lessons in sept which was of a poor standard. She attended 4 lessons paid for 9 but it’s since shut and each lesson was led by someone new. I dare to say any sort of risk assessment has been carried out , there wasn’t any washing or changing facilities which you would expect for £14 a lesson, and the place was a hazard waiting to happen, we are owed 5 lessons by Neil and move out of the area in a few weeks time . I have sent multiple emails and had no response so had to go to trading standards . Please do not book in here without firstly knowing it’s open and secondly knowing it isn’t a risk to you or your children .
Con man. Look up Neil Alistair Morten on conpanies house. This man has had 18 dissolved business and has a habit of not returning monies owed. Needs to be prosecuted. Currently running GMP design and choice and choice ltd. Watch out dealing with this man. You will get burnt. Poor kids have been robbed this time.
Just what lichfield needs. A swimming facility for the ever growing waiting lists for swimming lessons.
Not an ethical business, treat their staff appalling
