OMG!!!! We just went on a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and we’re referred to this bakery by a waitress at “Double D’s”. We have really no adjectives for  the specialness of this bakery . Just go. PERIOD!!! Lisa is such a professional, her bakery is par NONE!!!  We also got to meet Dave today when we picked up I an order to use as souvenirs. Their  sweet butter pastries are Devine! My favorite is the Skor one, peanut butter is #2. My friends and I purchased about  $ 200 USD T bring home as souvniers!

Finally got the chance to Sweet Oven! Amazing butter tarts if you want the ooey gooey centre! I usually don’t like the pastry but love this too!  We will definitely be back!! Would love to try the raspberry next!!!

We served butter tarts from The Sweet Oven at our cottage wedding and they were a HUGE hit.  People said they were literally the best butter tarts they'd ever had, and we had many guests asking where we'd gotten them from.  I read on another review that you're thinking of opening a store down in The Beaches my hood! - well, we can't wait to have you down here!

Never really a fan of butter tarts but after tasting them from the sweet oven they are at a different level the quality is amazing, the size, and they are absolutely amazing good job the sweet oven is amazing.....special order nutella

Butter tarts better than you’ve ever had before! So delicious, sweet, gooey and a tonne of flavours. I had the peanut butter flavour while friends had a range of plain, raisin and apple cinnamon. Highly recommend! Lovely staff too

Great butter tarts with a large variety of flavours! The butter tarts we got were very runny, so beware if trying to split them in half! Overall, great place for a sweet treat

They specialize in butter tarts, Consider myself a bit of a butter tart aficionados, by far the best butter tart I have had. Canadian living has ranked them as the best in Canada. They sell out even on weekdays way before official closing time ,which speaks to the quality of the tart , They sell a variety of flavours which come with runny or regular filling, flavour change every day, but plan , pecan and raisin are standard. Drive all the way to Barrie just for their butter tart.

The Butter tarts are fabulous! A little runny and delicious!
