I love this old school place. Kathy runs the kitchen and knows how to whip up crispy bacon and hashbrowns that make my mouth water. Jessie keeps the dishes and tables clean and Annie....well what can I say about Annie she's the main reason me and all my REFIT sisters really love the Sugar Shack. She makes us feel at home. #CynDsDEALS
We LOVE this place! We make it a point to come by for Sunday breakfast at least once a month. Very inexpensive, the kind of place I would have loved to come with my grandparents when I was a kid. They'd have loved it. In keeping their Sunday diner tradition alive, we make sure to give them our patronage and they give us amazing service every time. Cash only.
I mean, you get what you pay for. Traditional diner. Smells of grease, food is basic, service is alright. Cash Only!!!
Prices were very good! I had a deluxe cheeseburger and chicken noodle soup, my partner had a BLT and salad we both had coffee, under $20. The burger was delicious, but the soup was very salty. The BLT was a good size, the salad was huge took up about half the plate. The coffee tasted like it had been sitting on the burner to long not fresh. Service was fast but the waitress seemed like we were putting her out we came in at about 115 they close at 2pm. Was not impressed with the food. I gave 3 stars because the prices were so reasonable. There were alot more breakfast options than lunch.
My favorite independent diner! We come here once every other month or so for breakfast. I always get my dearly beloved "Western Omelette," it's the best around. A real omelette, not a scramble posing as one. Been coming here for years. Same cook, same waitress. No frills quality people serving up great food like Grammy would make! Cash only, give them your patronage please.
I stopped in today to have breakfast with my family of five. The food was great and they have a very friendly staff. I assume the cash only policy keeps the prices low as we all ate for $40 ...including tip! That's five separate meals. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Fun local diner - great way to avoid all the chains in this area. Service was 'laid-back' but fun. Felt like a popular place - assuming lots of locals hang out here. The pancakes are a MUST. Great Seahawks decor as well as lots of dollar bills on the celing signed by patrons.
Best breakfast in town! Always cooked correctly without all the grease! Love this place, also has a ridiculous food challenge: 3lb burger, fries and a soda for $25.... Free if u eat it in 45 minutes!
Favorite cafe ever. Food is bomb, prices are cheap, service is super fast even when it's slammed. They are only open certain days and hours so you do have to pay close attention to the schedule, but totally worth it. They are also cash only which can be a pain but again, the food is totally worth it.
Totally 50's style, clean, good food, pleasant staff. Not easily accesible to wheelchairs that I noticed but ample room inside. Very good food, large portions and very moderate pricing. I will go back there!
