What a great place for a casual meal riverside. Went here after the Parade of Homes, sat outside on the deck/patio while an attentive and friendly waitress took care of us. Food was great, prices fine and atmosphere perfect and we would go back again. The restaurant decor and cleanliness was spot on. Look forward to going back and so should everyone.
The place itself was all around pretty nice. When the food came out mine was warm not steaming like it should be. And I had a sprite or what ever they serve but it was the best tasting I have had in years. Not sure is it was new or clean lines but it didn't have that musty flavor to it.Food: 5/5
As summer comes to a close it's nice to sit on the deck and listen to the water. Service has been great last two times we have been there. Limited menu but a decent variety. A relaxed atmosphere with a great view.
My friend ordered a porter beer out of the tap. It had CHUNKS in it. Bartender was nonchalant about it. "Oh ok what else would you like?" Food wasn't bad, but nothing special. Concerned me that our friends birthday party that was there, were the ONLY patrons. On a Friday, at 5pm.... that seems very odd. And no they didn't rent the whole place out.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I like to support independent places as much as I can. We had a party of 9 people 4 adults and 5 kids that stopped here before we went to the parade of lights. As soon as we sat down you could tell the waitress was annoyed with us, not sure why because there was only one other family in the restaurant. We placed our order and when the food came out, we were missing two dinners. The waitress said the fryer was backed up, she just forgot to put the orders in. After waiting another 20 minutes for the meals that were missing, the well done burger my son ordered was totally raw and was bleeding all over the bun and plate. I asked to have it removed from my bill, which they did but never heard a sorry from our waitress or owner who was standing right at the bar. We will not go back to this establishment.
Food was lacking seasoning and took forever - when there were only 4 tables around. There’s a fee if you use a card and it’s not explicit on your bill - never seen this in the industry before. Wait staff was friendly but also didn’t have positive things to say about the food or the fee. Gets traffic because of location and views from the patio but it’s not worth it - grab something and have a picnic somewhere
Crab Po'boy was very good, hand made crab pattys. My husband had the pulled pork and said it was very tasty, made like a Cuban. Nice eating out on the deck.
Great food, excellent service and staff all wrapped up in a cozy, scenic and inviting space.Food: 5/5
They have had pretty good food each time we have been there. It is a little pricey but not really expensive. Good atmosphere too, especially during the summer months. We have our company holiday party there and it is always good.
Good drinks, a nice view on the water, and excellent service!
