Blues festival and music were awesome! ATM not functioning so card payment slowed less than enthusiastic and understaffed bartenders who preferred cash. A few in our group joined in the food order line and had to stand around until there number was called for - just ok eats. Only a few tables in a room of 300 for concert like seating. Men's room was out of order and there was a rather foul odor. Thinking the house earned a bad service rating by a lot of customers and left a lot of money on the table by not having enough staff.
Our family can't thank Pete and his staff enough. With about a week's notice he accommodated us for my Dad's celebration of life lunch/dinner. The food was excellent and he and his staff did everything to ensure we were taken care of.
So happy we have Suburban Bourbon to hear live music. The Harmonica Blues evening was amazing! Would like to see the Motown Night come back, that was a awesome night too!
My wife and I had our wedding reception here in the basement. The owner was excellent and worked with what we wanted and the money we had. It ended up being a wonderful night with excellent food and an open bar for an extremely reasonable price when compared to the other venues in the Milwaukee area. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding! Thank you, Pete, for all your help and delicious food!
We were just here for a rare bourbon tasting and can't speak highly enough of the place. The evening they put on paired rare bourbons with small plate dishes. While the bourbon was as good as you expect, the quality of the food was what really surprised us. Not normally on their menu, the dishes were well thought out, wonderfully prepared, fresh and delicious. The place itself, the owner, and ambiance, is relaxed and welcoming. They are doing some more of these types of evening and we will be back for sure. Downstairs there's a hall where we've been previously for music, and that too is well executed. Not just for bourbon lovers either. They currently have goose island bourbon county stout on tap and I had the best gin and tonic I've had for a while here! If their regular menu is half as good as the food we had, it would be worth coming for. A real gem in the heart of Muskego, the community is lucky to have this place. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :- I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!
The Suburban Bourbon offers a full menu at reasonable prices. This venue is ideal for live music; complete with 2 cash bars, ample seating, a wonderful all wood dance floor, and plentiful free parking. I highly recommend The Suburban Bourbon for a terrific all ages live music venue with a family friendly dining experience.
Had an outstanding time!! Jazz band was excellent, definitely worth seeing again!! Full bar with great choice of whiskies. Reduced menu do to staffing, but wide variety of choices and our group of 10 ran the gambit. Everyone was VERY happy with our dinners. We will be back, I hear there's a great "Big band" concert coming.
First time there and was welcomed by owners and very nice bartender. Nicely done interior and drinks were good. Will go back again.
I can't think of a better venue for just about any event. The owner is most gracious and easy to work with.
