Super quaint and cozy coffee house with great coffee and a down to earth owner. Brock was lovely. You can tell he has sunk his heart into this cute little place. I'm from the west coast and this was exactly what I needed during my brief visit. I even found a perfect used book for my trip home. I wish I had time to stick around for a music night. Next visit for sure.

Best damn coffee in Winnipeg, hands down. It's so incredibly smooth. The atmosphere is terrific, just right for a place to either have a good conversation, or just delve into your own world. The owner is a great guy and easy to talk to. Can't recommend this place high enough. The shop even has it's own zine, The Strong Badger Chronicles that patrons can submit to! What a great way to grow the audience!

This was a very cute and quaint coffee joint. I loved it! The owner is so mellow and friendly! I also love the decor of the place and there is always open mic night on Friday nights. His pastries were simple however also good. I took my friend here, and he also thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would go back and would also recommend going here as well!

This place is the quintessential local coffee house, like one would expect to find in Portland. Its cozy, rustic atmosphere is only enhanced by the shelves of old books and light jazz playing quietly. Add to this: reasonable prices, fine brew, friendly patrons and the occasional live performance, and you have a winning combination.
