Good food and good ambience. But a little steeply priced for a small town. The starters were good. We ordered yeh carb cake and for main the lamb racks were good but the shank for sub par. If you’re visiting Perth and looking for semi fine dine then this might be the place you want to check out.
A fantastic place to stop in on a busy afternoon. Super friendly staff greeting at the door and straight through to the shady patio in the back to enjoy the comings and goings of the town. We enjoyed some delicious amber ales from the local Perth Brewery and oysters followed by some small plates of olives and feta and the tastiest pretzels. The charcuterie was also excellent. Recommended!
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Stone Cellar! The whole team was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they have a fantastic cocktail list and wine menu, the truffle Parm fries were phenomenal, and our meals were delicious. We can't wait to return!
Visited on a Sunday evening, new menu had launched with some good dishes. Atmosphere is pleasant. Server could be more knowledgeable about overall menu choices even with update as well as wine choices. 5 star would be attained if more knowledgeable as well presence of flies in establishment bothersome during meal.
After a day in Perth checking out the town and sites we landed here for dinner. Note to readers: the best restaurants in Perth book early. This was our second pick. Great decor and ambiance. It's a little on the pricey to overpriced side, but this place doesn't serve pub food. Great local beer and good wine selection. The food was good; not awesome. I hope the pics I took do the plates justice. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that as soon as I put my dessert spoon down, the bill and pos machine were brought to the table and our server asked politely for us to move along for another reservation and that there was a 2 hour COVID-19 time limit restriction we weren't advised of. We had been there less than 90 minutes. That was the ending to our experience.
Food was pretty tasty. However service wasn’t the best. With a reservation there was no one there to greet us at the door, had to awkwardly stand there for about 5 minutes. After ordering we had to wait 45 minutes for the food to arrive and servers weren’t the friendliest. Would’ve rather spend $50 on dinner a person someplace else.
We chose The Stone Cellar for our wedding reception and everything turned out great! Lindsay and her team did an excellent job answering all our calls, emails, and questions leading up to our big night. The hard work they put into setting everything up made the restaurant look fantastic! Everyone of our guests raved how good the food was, including us. The chef and the kitchen team made some fantastic food, and accommodated our guests allergies. All the servers and bar staff who were working that night were all super helpful, friendly, and made our guests feel taken care of. We were very pleased with how the night turned out! We would be more than happy to recommend The Stone Cellar as a wedding venue to our friends and family, and look forward to trying the new fall menu. Hope to be there again soon! Chris and Nicole
Just celebrated a milestone birthday here and what a truly beautiful venue! Lindsay was wonderful in helping me create a spectacular unforgettable evening! She even had an associate help create/design a signature drink menu including a printed off beautiful menu to be displayed for my guests. I just told her my theme and colours and she got back to me right away with an amazing and creative menu. I’ve eaten here for dinner in the main restaurant and just love the vibe and food. 10/10 recommend! Thank you again Lindsay and staff!
I stopped at the restaurant with my wife while walking through Perth. The ambiance, decor, menu and the welcoming staff made choosing the Stone Cellar easy. We enjoyed the selection of wines and beers, the food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will make sure to stop by for another meal soon.
Lovely atmosphere with a gas fireplace in the middle of the dining area. We went for our anniversary and sat next to the wine cellar which was wonderful. Had two cocktails, an appetizer, the lamb and salmon and it was all very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was also fantastic. We would return again in a heartbeat.
