The State Diner

Cute little place serving up food with a 1950s diner vibe. Service is great and the food was tasty! An omelette will run you between $13-$15.

This place is great! It is a classic 50's style diner the Fonz would have been happy to frequent. Kim, one of the employees, was great. I ate there two days running.

Two stars is me being generous. My food was dropped on the floor, my partners food was wrong and then the server denied and failed to admit her wrongdoing. Food was soggy and wet, however, service was fast. Although the food was bearable, definitely could not bring myself to complete my meal OR take it to-go.

The service here makes me feel like I'm back in the 60s or something. They prepare the food right in front of you and the chef clearly knows what he's doing. It's not that quick so if you are in a hurry this might not be for you. But it's good food nonetheless.

A lovely old school diner with well executed classics and a very friendly staff

Food was good. However I did notice when passing the kitchen door at least two staff members were not wearing their mask appropriately ie: covering only their mouth and not their nose I appreciated the temperature checks at the door and mask requirements but who is monitoring the staff in the kitchen?
