Absolutely loved it! Sitting at the counter watching the cook was a treat within itself. The staff was nice, the food was delicious, and prices were beyond reasonable.
LSD as it is called on the menu is a typical diner. It's not a big place, and runs very smoothly. It seemed like the owner was waiting on all the tables and then running behind the counter to cook. Quick service, the French toast came piping hot, plenty of food, and the price was good too.Food: 5/5
Solid Google recommendation while passing through Ithaca. The turkey club is the largest I’ve ever seen and the fish and cups was great. The staff are funny and sarcastic.
When I travel I always try to find the places where the locals eat. Lincoln Street Diner is definitely a locals spot. Great food and service.Food: 5/5
My husband and I enjoy coming here when we can because the food is delicious! The omelet combinations are creative and filling, pancake portions are huge and the toast and home fries are crispy. Service is always fast and friendly, the place usually gets packed later on in the morning! Overall, great diner, great food, great experience.
I am serious about breakfast. I am serious about coffee refills. Ask anyone and they will plainly tell you this is so. The Lincoln street diner is one of a kind. When I was younger and I was a man about town, there was nothing better than after a night out than the Ziffy. It’s got all the recovery one might need. Three types of meat, gravy if you wish, peppers onions, cheese, and home fries. It comes with toast. I always go with Texas toast because hey, it’s bigger. One time I ate a Ziffy and then subsequently ate a bo burger. I moved extra slowly throughout the remainder of that day. I stand by that choice. They take their time to get to know their patrons. I went in there all the time during the height of the pandemic. It was a nice place to have breakfast, and play chess on my phone. They anticipate the needs of the customers. I would often have coffee at my place before I sat down. Chris is hilarious to talk too. I have lived in Ithaca nearly all my life and there are few quality, consistent, reasonably priced breakfast places left. Lincoln street diner is one of them. This is small business as small business should be.
This place has been my go-to for breakfast for the past few years. A great place to bring friends and the staff is very friendly. Anything with the habanero cheese is guaranteed to be great!
Best diner in ithaca hands down. Small local place. Owner and staff are all great. Food is reasonably priced and amazing.
The decor of Lincoln Street Diner is authentic American style diner, simple and adorable. The staff used standing character cardboards to keep customers in social distance which was creative and interesting. The options on their menu are not super various but enough for a decent brunch & breakfast. We had Western Omelet, French toast and unlimited coffee with reasonable price and great portion. The food is overall delicious, especially the omelette. We love the omelette, which was well-cooked and kept the texture moist. The French Toast was simply tasty but kind of dry.
Wow,the food here was pretty good. I got the eggs over easy with corn beef hash and it was cooked perfect just how I wanted it. Minus one star for the rust on the silverware.
