Story

The South Side Restaurant and Pizzeria is a privately owned and operated restaurant which began operation in 1990 across the street from its current location and was originally called The Original Italian Pizzeria and Restaurant (OIP). In 2005 the restaurant was relocated to its current location at 324 West Southern Avenue. In 2016, a new owner introduced menu changes, beer and wine service, big screen TVs, and other subtle changes all while staying true to what made the restaurant successful for so long. In 2017, the restaurant was renamed The South Side Restaurant and Pizzeria to reflect our 27 year relationship with the South Williamsport community and our differentiation from other area restaurants with names similar to our former name. We look forward to serving the South Williamsport, DuBoistown, and Williamsport communities for many more years to come.
